They didn't promote it...Wayne or his team dont know how to chose singles or songs from albums to promote..Wayne gotta fix his presentation he the GOAT but man its killing him Let it All Work Out, Dedicate on C5 should've been a singles, Mahogany on Funeral, Big Diamonds on Collegrove 2..list is endless ..they prefer to pander instead of creating their own wave especially now since everyone sounds & looks like Wayne..he got enough fans and respect to not have to play the commercial game and just make more pure, raw & artistic music with substance
mona lisa dawg he painted us a picture w his words close your eyes and listen bet you imagine yourself in first person shits raw what people can do to the mind!!
Lil Wayne is the true definition of don't judge a book by its cover. The man's vocabulary and usage of words is just out of this world, a true 21st century poet
A lot of my friends don't know this song, yet even Eminem congratulated wayne on how good this song was you can easily find a youtube video of that telephone conversation Wayne also said Kendrick kiled it
Man , this song doesn't even need any VIDEO , LYRICS paint the picture better than Leonardo da Vinci. I'm glad now that the video is out soon , many others might stop sleeping on this MASTERPIECE.
I love storytelling in hip hop too!! Even if it’s not a “deep” story.. just being able to follow along and create a mind movie to their lyrics is immersive.
When you actually LISTEN to the words this is a fucked up song. Dark Satanic energy, self destructive message, no wonder the streets are so fucked up. These guys rap good but people are dying out here, I pray for this lost generation "Music is supposed to inspire"- Lauren Hill
I agree but all this band wagon jumping shows how pathetic fans are. Drake wasnt #1 for so many years and fans didnt make him a millionaire? Makes sense why Em wrote STAN
@@826_Vegeta_UCMa lot of people have been praying on Drake’s downfall for a while, but I do agree with you for the most part, a lot of Drake glazers switched up on him. He does deserve the downfall tho
The visualization of these guys' words are unbelievable here. Both Kendrick and Wayne gotta be given their flowers for this masterpiece. This song is way underrated..
How TF does this only have 17M views !??? I swear this Kendrick beef done opened up that rap hits vault because I’ve been binging all the goats for days and truly appreciating the art like I’m hearing it for the first time. This is a MASTERPIECE 🔥🔥🔥
@@dontrah1838 because he compliments the song so well. they both play different sides and the way their verses paint a whole picture is just so damn good
This song is such a masterpiece. It really does not get the recognition it truly deserves… The storytelling is top tier and really paints a picture of the story in your head. Aside from that, the beat & melody is simply outrageous.
Talking about who is storytelling in hip hop and who is better this here Lil Wayne Truly talented artist in the rang of Eminem but difrreent rap styles. But he really is iin Eminem range of talent. I can now say that cause I know Wayne since Soildier from DC and lollipop was that turn nor just for Wayne but it was the begging of new hip hop and mumbel rap and I just know it.
I still can't believe that this classic was recorded in 2014 and not released until 2018.😭 How is such greatness hidden in the vaults for that long? 🤦🏾♂️
@@Nivek05nah the excuses crazy tho if it’s a good verse he’s insane if it’s a bad verse he’s letting the other artist shine love Kendrick but fans are wild
@@jakeelfenbein3172 you should learn to read and comprehend before replying. Kendrick had no verse in forbidden fruit, that is the context to what we were saying
@@miamimanolo6803 the "hater fallacy" is always what you dumb people fall on. Its just really an average piece of music my dude. Its okay if you love it, but its not a masterpiece.
This song is waaay underrated. Lil Wayne goes in soo hard on this right here! Only reason he is getting more hits is cuz he is just watching that short on *my channel* explaining how all these rappers out here be blowing up so big
Started french kissing so he didn't see Mua "mwah" because that's another way to text a kiss and you guys didn't even put that part together and Mua is spelled MiO in french but pronounced mwah and it means me
They just announced Kendrick is playing Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans Feb. 9, 2025 and I hope they bring out Wayne for this song! It would be so perfect for New Orleans!
this song is about a b*tch that f*cked both of them on the under and they're un-happy about it... i don't think this is Super Bowl playable.... it would be dope tho
@@tylerdungoofedI think Kendrick making sure the fame don't change him to the point where he isn't Kendrick anymore..gotta take time to be normal and grow when u mixing with hollyWierd especially!😒
Who’s here after Kendrick said he would be performing at the Super Bowl half time show 2025 in New Orleans? Kendrick gotta bring Lil Wayne out, is only right….
“He tell her all his secrets, he tell her all his fears. Then she tell me and I be all ears”😈 This song still goes hard years later. One of the best story telling I’ve heard in a song.
Goose bumps everytime i listen to wayne, he really puts it in the song, emotion spectrum, sometimes you want to ride out, get hyphy, get down wit your chick, even die sometimes, yup i feel like dying, but i wont.
This song is deep. It shows how the wrong woman will destroy you! Lil Wayne, started it and Kendrick Lamar took it to the extreme with his explanation!

@@Nelly34e why and how do you hear a donut being a better metaphor? It's revolving around the story line. He's literally speaking on the fact that she acts nice and sweet but she does the devil's work for him so to speak. Aka, taking her halo and tossing it aside like a Frisbee.
I watched a Lil Wayne interview the other day and they called him a Picasso of music what he did in this song was truly a masterpiece Lil Wayne said it wasn’t up to him to say what his legacy is it was for the fans to decide Wayne is Goat.
This is one of those type songs where the video in the song should have been matching because the storytelling is so on point and when Kendrick does his part he use different emotions different voices in his raps in his storytelling unbelievable
Ohhh my god! I accidentally clicked on this song but I love it. Wayne and Kendrick are two amazing artist's and they've gotsa a banging video, beats, and lyrics. Of fucking course!
@@GrandmasterTune idk bout that ..Kenny’s pen game is already amazing but they both did what they do best ..and of course Kenny gotta show up for Wayne 😂he love that man
Never been a hater, nor the biggest fan of Wayne, but THIS track. This is what I like to call a producer's track, in that those who produce music can feel every decision made in the booth, under the pen, and behind the keys. You have to appreciate how technical this track is. It's legendary.
I liked how kendrick used his different voices in a song. The one angry voice from his previous song "wats wrong". The emotional voice from "GOD is gangsta". The Kung fu Kenny voice. All were fucking Awesome.
One world for this mind blown 🤯 !! These two legit artist especially lil wayne always been a fan of his. They both killed this track!! The beat, the lyrics I could not stop listening to it over and over 😁 damn!!

@@brysenart The creativity, lyricism, rhyme patterns, character changes, and voice inflictions of K Dot was one of the most unique and masterful pieces of music I’ve ever heard in my life. I love Wayne and he murdered this song, but Kung Fu Kenny showed why he’s the top dawg out there and has been for a minute now.
This is the Lil Wayne that is the best rapper alive. Lil Wayne is the most talented Lyricist I've ever heard. But he rarely ever shows his full potential. Most of the time he's just dropping punchlines, and the song isn't really about anything. But when Lil Wayne has a story to tell, or is focused on an actual topic, and he brings that outstanding delivery nobody is better. Listen to the old stuff, I miss my dogs, young and blues, la, la, la, go getta, grinding.
Kendrick and Wayne pull the best out of each other on this one. Can’t imagine how long it took for this song to be made. This is truly one of the best songs of the last decade.
And that some women if not religion they will bring the devil and that Catholics are praying to the cross and Marry which is against God's commandments and they also see the Pope as a saviour or something. Antichrist or what 🤔?
All Wayne needs to do is re-release all his hits in the last decade and they are still nasty no matter the year. This man gotta be top 3 best rapper of all time!
Glad to see all the comments giving one of the greatest stories ever told in hip hop it’s credit. Give Wayne his credit. Wayne ALWAYS goes in to the level of the feature. NOBODY can “murder him on his own s***” I always felt nobody knew this song because it’s never been talked about and it’s brilliant story telling by two of the best. I always wish more people knew about this song. Big FU to baby and cash money for ruining the album release. Everybody slept on it. One of his best albums by far.
Lol Kendrick owned this song though, and Kendrick owner their prior collab(buy the world), and Kendrick killed carter 3 album remake better than Wayne did his own. Wayne had the longer mic time in this, but they both killed it! Kendrick came with delivery, flow and bars all in one. Lol shifting gears on the cadence.
@@princeel7221 Kendrick is misunderstood by a lot of people who don't care to dig into his music and the meanings. With Wayne he can talk in metaphor but his straightforwardness and punchlines, as well as his hits is what makes him top 10 for me. Kendrick is a visionary and was ahead of his time and continues to impress.
