The food in Lima is insane! We loved all the places we ate at, but got so lucky when we scored a reservation at Maido! We couldn't get into Central, but we heard it amazing as well. Next time!

Wow Lima. I visited this city when I was young, but I completely remember all the fun I had there. My favorite food was Aji de Gallina. If you haven’t had it, I completely suggest it. That was almost all I ate. They also make amazing Lomo de Saltado (think I wrote that correctly). the hotel looks so great though. The Japanese-Peruvian fusion food looked awesome

The mosaics reminded me so much of Gaudi in Barcelona! What a beautiful park. All that food looked amazing! I rarely get to go to fancy restaurants to I loved experiencing them vicariously through you. The display is almost as amazing as the food itself! Thanks for sharing :)

Wow! The hotel looks awesome! The terrace pool is so inviting! It would be perfect after a day full of roaming about Lima. That's called a room with a view! Its exceptional. The food is just wow!

We talked about it as you guys experienced Maido, and we did Central Restaurant! Belmond Miraflores is amazing (and you misspelled Miraflores). The drone shot of the coastline is crazy - we didn't even fly our drone there, ugh. Maido looks amazing, and love how you described it as a Japan and Peru had a baby in the kitchen LOL. 50 hour rib - that's crazy. Awesome food shots as always - we will definitely eat at Maido the next time we are in Lima! Y'all should do Central someday, too!

Wow! You guys always dine at the best places! That's great you were able to get a reservation on such short notice... The food at Maido definitely looks world-class.. The presentation looked amazing! If cuy was always presented that way we would definitely have tried it! Lol! Parque del Amor did look a lot like Park Guell in Barcelona. You guys are always spot on with your commentary that it was nice to see those bloopers at the end! Thanks for sharing!

Haha...nope she didn’t know! It was pretty loud when the waiter was describing the dish, so she didn’t really hear. Honesty, they way it was prepared, actually tasted pretty good!

That's so incredible that your concierge got you a space at Maido! Your shots of the food are full on Chef's Table - I'm salivating and imagining what that might have tasted like. 😋 Btw, your panning shots at the Belmond hotel are super silky smooth! How did you achieve that?

Thanks for the kind words...yeah, the restaurant was pretty amazing! For the panning shots, most of the time I'm just using 120fps on the camera, but I think I had it on a gimbal for these shots. I struggle deciding to travel with more gear, or just try and get the shot through practice and better technique. Jury is still out on that though :-)

Great vid. I'm with you on the seafood comment at the beginning. Good seafood is hard to top. The Parque Del Amor TOTALLY looks like Parc Guell (pronounced Gwell...sorry, I'm a Spanish/Catalan snob) in Barcelona. That's the first thing I thought! Japan and Peru had a baby in the kitchen. LOL. c/t
