Interviewer was intimidated by Linda McCartney. She obviously has low self esteem, she kept referring to herself as stupid. She’s a very nice person and tried hard.
amazingly the interviewer was 43 here, but she looks and acts like a 70-something year old, very set-in-her-ways and not wanting to listen to Linda's enlightened perspectives
agree so much, who knew? Both Linda and Paul have gone up in my estimation so much in recent years as I get older and can appreciate just how level headed and normal they all were/are. RIP Linda
@@lindatheubet1997 Obviously not so quiet - given the book promotions and appearances on shows like this makes you wonder why, given they are so mega wealthy, but TBH she does seem relatively normal as were all the Beatles which was a major part of their charm
Linda has a natural spirit of love, happiness, and care, no wonder Paul married her, she is an amazing person. I wish their was more people like Linda, God bless her!
In the past few weeks, I’ve been looking into the life of Linda Eastman McCartney and find her to be a very lovely, creative, and very interesting person. After a few times of listening to the album “RAM,” I have grown very fond of her vocal talents. It’s early in my research of Linda, and look forward to more wonderful experiences as I learn from her. Rest-in-Peace Linda. ❤️ 🙏
Its just sooooooo sad to think this wonderful woman who radiated such positivity out into the world is gone. She had a platform and used it in about the best way possible bless her.
I think she would be very touched by it. She had it pretty tough for a long time, because of Paul's fans. She was made fun of and ridiculed and criticized. She didn't deserve any of it. She was a lovely person.
I don't think Vicki's style was that bad considering it was 1992. No one was routinely talking about "dead animals" in regard to vegetarianism on daytime TV then. She was probably surprised by Linda's bluntness, lol.
Linda Eastman McCartney is a wonderful person and wife, inside out. She is so natural and creative, that's why she got lots of talents developed through life. She is the best complement to Paul or any man, for that matter. A wonderful writer and vegetarian mom/cook. She could get anyone to eat any vegetable she would cook. I feel convinced of her photography and cooking. This is my simple tribute to this woman, par excellence, of family love and personfied simplicity!
LOVED this Interview, and still LOVE it Today!!!!!!!! Linda's Cookbooks are WONDERFUL, and I still use them and prepare her Recipes. They are DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“A little keyboard and a few harmonies”. Linda was one of three consistent members of Wings (generally considered the pinnacle of post beatle work) and subsequent solo tours of Paul’s. She was highly influential even when surrounded by acclaimed musicians. She most certainly was not just along for the ride. What a humble and sincere soul
Loved her simple life style, Im not vegetarian but can appreciate where she was coming from, Both she and paul come across as down to earth people, Her legacy is her wonderful kids and her many amazing photos... she is missed
I had never had the chance to see her or hear her in interviews other than this first time. And I feel that same pang I felt when it was announced that she passed. I am glad that her and Paul found each other the way they did because they seemed to be like two peas in a pod. We can only hope we could be that lucky. I've met a handful of people that have spent time in the UK and after a bit, they begin to sound like whatever area they had spent their time in. It is always fun to hear the change. I think it is difficult not to pick it up. She was such a down to earth and shy person, you can see it in her eyes. Bless you Linda!
I never saw the Vicki show. I thought she was very gracious and let Linda talk. I got to hear things I never knew before. I was really surprised they lived in a two bedroom house for awhile. No wonder their kids are polite and grounded. :)
Just watch him sing 'My Love' on stage. He says "this is for Linda" , as he wrote it for her. It's beautiful. One of my all time favourite songs. Love them both, so sad she passed so young.
Kind of hard not to when you’ve spent over half your life living with a Brit in the UK. My wife born and raised in Oregon but has spent most of our marriage with me here and the as and I’ve watched her gradually pick up a southern twang over the years.
I was thinking the same thing famous people with lots of charisma tend to do that with their significant others. Linda Eastman was actually a Askanazi Jew whose father was a big cheese with Eastnan Industrues a sister company to Eastman Kodak that is still around though is a shell of what it once was.
I think it's nice when Linda came out and said that she wanted a small house be with her kids that's nice cuz she wanted so much to be with her children and her husband instead of having a big house and then Annie's it just shows you that you could be down to earth and be with your kids with a lot of rich people should look at you had those kids to take care of yourself God bless Linda McCartney rest in peace and Paul was very lucky to have a beautiful woman in his life and gave him three children
Linda McCartney food is stilll going strong, and unlike many vegan/vegetarian products it's not merely available for the wealthier consumer the products are also available at prices and in supermarkets catering to the less affluent eg Iceland.
Miss You Linda 💜💜 My kids are really nice people too.. Must be the Hippie Nurturing We Gave them when they were Little We should be really proud of that R.i.p Sweet Lady xoxo 💜💜💜💜
One of the last great "old school" ladies with solid family values in spite of living in a famous marriage. The world hasn't been the same since Linda left us! Also love how back then the women aged gracefully, no fake breasts, lip fillers, lash extensions, etc. She truly was the Lovely Linda!! And, she wasn't a walking advertisement for clothing designers. She was comfortable in her own clothes of choice.
I don't blame her who wants a big house she had to clean up I just love Linda because I like being a mom and housewife women now days would never do that but me that's all I wanted
People keep saying “the interviewer”. Vicki Lawrence was a star on the Carol Burnett show. A great comedy show. Not a Beatles wife but a celebrity in her own right.
Linda was a lovely woman, down to earth and natural. I liked her even more for her stance on animal welfare and standing up for their welfare. I still eat and enjoy Linda;s Veggie burgers and sausages.....Not so keen on the woman interviewing Linda and the way she poo hoo'ed her when she spoke about being vegetarian helped her to be more spiritual
