Sounds like you might be in a less populated area of the country. You might call a dealer in a bigger city like Chicago, Denver,LA or New York

Pretty much the same machine, minus the color and model name. Yours is intended to be sold to commercial customers.

When it’s blue and grey it’s the commercial variant. The solid white, blue, red and black versions are domestic. The colours are just cosmetic.

There is some commercial equipment that would come in second place made by Numatic.

Pricing is really not as far out of the Ball Park as you think. The closest things to it are $900. Makita, proteam and maybe the Miele HX2. It's on par also and a lot of other commercial cleaning equipment that's cordless.

@@ntag411 Right. I’m not really sure how you came to the conclusion about charge cycles. A lithium cells capacity, and its max safe output for lifespan are separate metrics. 6 Ah denotes how much energy the battery holds, not how quickly it can be safely discharged.

@@Dirty_Bear22 That unit likely draws 9amps, from a 6AmpHr battery. The faster the charge and/or discharge the shorter cycle life of the battery will be. One source of info is Battery University. Also helps to have a electronics/electrical background. Commonly folks believe products are not made to last today vs yesteryear. The cordless vacuum and cordless power tools are a good example. A familiar entity bought several Hoover Linx cordless vacuums. They are basically junking all the units because the 18.V 36Wh battery packs die within a year or so at $50 each. The batteries are rated at 2Amph, calculated, while the motor is labeled 6Amps, 3x the Amp hour rating. Runtime of 20 minutes corresponds to calculated and labeled specs. Not a conservative design in the least. What sells the product is the initial low price of about $150, lightweight and sexy form factor. The inexpensive motor/turbine assemblies fail as well.

@@ntag411 Again, what you should be concerned with is amperage draw ratings of the individual cell/battery pack. Total capacity doesn’t indicate maximum amp draw of the cell.

Yes there are less options now than there used to be. However Dyson did not discontinue corded Vacuums in fact they just came out with a new corded upright

Dyson hasn't stopped making corded vacuums, just stopped developing new one's, although if the global market changes, I can see them making a U-turn and starting developing new corded ones again 👌

@@PerformanceReviews Btw, its really nice hearing you talking about how inconvenient bagless vacuums are. I have yet to see anyone on your field of work using a bagless to clean other vacuums. Although it not possible, but I would love to hear James Murray Spangler's two cents about bagless vacuums.
