Thanks untuk T5 test edge retention-nya. I've been looking for a main survival knife for months, now i've found the great one.. I think I'll purchase that knife..
Thanks for the demo, this will soon be my edc fixed blade. Yea, it's a bit big, but so am I. Considered the m4 but I really need a more rust resistant steel, and that handle is just perfect.
Pleasure's mine. If you're referring to the lionsteel M4 that one comes in M390 which will be more rust-resistant, but is a shorter blade. The M5 is about the same size as the T5, but yes, that one rusts pretty bad. Niolox isn't a true stainless steel, and while it doesn't rust as bad, isn't impervious to it.
@@The_Polished_Edge Thanks for the reply. Yea, I misspoke. I do know that niolox isn't a true stainless, but it is still not as sensitive as stuff like 1095. I'll probably want to make a different sheath though, I see myself cutting that retention strap off in the first few months, lol.
@@NoBody-eh8bw no problems, just want to make sure you know what you're getting =) yeah, I got a Kydex made for mine. As beautiful as the original sheath is, it's not nearly as indestructible as Kydex will be.
@@davemcbeardface8976 the M4 is nice, especially with the M390 steel. Still a bit thick IMO, i'd say the M1 might be more suitable if you want to EDC a fixed blade. Otherwise, my EDC is a ZT 560BW in elmax, which is pretty reliable for the city
I've not used it as much since then, with the outbreak and all. There are some hairline scratches on the coating, but nothing serious. DLC is probably still the best coating option, but this is fine too
@@The_Polished_Edge Thanks for the response brother. I am leaning on the coated version than the satin finished one. I think it will look better overtime. Will be having those used denim look.
