This is always my problem. EOS wasn't the biggest culprit for me but yeah. You put it on its good for a while and then an hour later you're worse off. Especially if your lips were already dry to begin with. Maybe these just seal in moisture so u have to find something to moisturize them first? Oh I recall the worst offender now. Maybelline baby lips. I loved the subtle tint on me, the menthol, it was so pretty your lips but better. Yet 15 mins later, lips drier than they started out.

When you visit Japan, you'll have to try Argelan... It's a 'drugstore' (so American lols) brand I discovered. Calls itself am organic certified oil lip stick. The neroli orange flavour is unbelievable. I've only ever seen it in Japan

have you tried the mint one? i’ve usually got a stick on me - i’ve found it feels more cooling than the usually tingly mint lip balm (not for everyone, but i really enjoy it).

Bite has frustrated me SO much. They’re a Canadian brand, and I’ve loved their lip mask and multisticks before they discontinued most of their makeup and reformulated. Not only are the reformulations AWFUL, but I am completely screwed once I run out of my favourite shade, “Praline”, which is totally un-dupeable.

Such a shame they reformulated. I understand the demand for vegan products, but I wish they'd just made an additional version. That way they could have kept vegan shoppers *and* original customers happy! 👍 x

i was wondering why the newer multistick i have from them (can’t remember the shade name, but it’s a really bold red) felt so dry. if you like a wash of colour, i found melting down the stick & mixing in a bit of moisturizer (popped it into a pot afterwards) made it a lot creamier & i’ve been using it as a lip/cheek tint. not the same pigmentation, but if you’d like your favourite shade as a tint, it could work for you.

Before you run out of the colour, you could try creating a good dupe at bite beauty lip lab? Assuming you’re in Canada since you mentioned bite is a Canadian brand, there’s one in Toronto.

After trying a lot of brands, i found my holy grial in the Cicaplast Balm from La Roche Posay. Is not cheap here in Uruguay, but it works divine for me

I love the Cicaplast balm! It was my holy grail until I discovered Nuxe Reve de Miel (pot form) so don't use it enough any more, but it's still a solid lip balm.

For some reason I always come back to the thick lipbalms that hold a tingly sensation... it's a cooling comfort that I have gotten used to and I can't go back! My favourites, due to their "cooling" sensations of course are blistex, palmers dark chocolate mint (can't wait to repurchase!) And the original peppermint berts bees... I'm a girl who loves her mint I suppose. Loving these videos and I hope to try some of these out!

i had the maple original bite lip mask and adored it! i'm on accutane and found it to be my go-to lip care product. i tried the tinted new formula and i love it too! not as thick for me, which is a little sad, but this one smells like vanilla and i positively adore the color. lip gloss without sacrificing my healing properties.

My favourite lip balm of all time is the Nivea lip care. It comes in a variety of subtle shades (and flavors), and is so moisturizing compared to Carmex, or EOS. My favourite is peach, with a subtle (on my medium-deep skin ) coral tint.

I really love the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in grapefruit! I live in Canada and it's the only thing I find that saves my lips during our cold snaps and never ending winters (there's still snow here, ugh). I use it as a regular lip balm and keep one in nearly every room of my house haha. Though I would love to try the Ultra Violette Sheen Screen, it sounds great the summer!

I have so many expensive lip products but when I wear original medicated carmex lip balm on my lips is when people ask me what am I wearing. It drives me crazy, but the healthy look and shine it gives is nice.

my old/new favourites are born lippy balms from the body shop. the top three ingredients are castor seed oil, beeswax & lanolin & it feels very soft & moisturizing. it’s also a bit glossy, the flavours/tints are lovely & it’s on the more affordable side (6$CAD for 10ml) - always a bonus. i completely forgot i had a couple pots until a few days ago & i keep reaching for the watermelon one.

i really love the kiehl's lip balm no.1! it's a little thicker and more nourishing than vaseline when cold and my lips are always very chapped but it rehydrates quickly, and a little goes a very long way :)

I really like the body shop's 'born lippy' range despite prefer sticks instead of pots, they're glossy balms with a subtle hint of colour and the most amazing flavour. Also quite keen on blistex's intensive moisture balm.

I love lip balm in tubes. I noticed that lip balm in tubes is far more excellent than lip balm in sticks. My favourite is Innisfree My Lip Balm. They have great flavours, texture and an applicator so you don’t have to use your fingers.

The fresh balm is one of my favorites. I agree that it is not the most hydrating but love the flavor. Coconut is hands down my favorite out of the 3 I've tried.

Besides cream check products, Lip products are my fav! With that said a few of my favorites "lip balms" Smith & Cult lip gel in sheer dusty mauve matches my lip color and has hyeluronic acid😙. It is close to a lip oil feel,(Smith &Cult has a new lip balm in a jar I want to try too), Burts bees lips balm (I LOVE ALL the colors), Burts Bee spf 15, Cerevé Moisturizing Ointment with hyeluronic acid (I use on my lips and under eyes at night and custom mix lipstick with it and put in small pots for the daytime) ,spf 50 super goop for outdoors, &Nivea Cherry lip balm(the color is BEAUTIFUL) 🥰

I don't find them very similar unfortunately Alex! Sadly Laneige didn't really work for me, but Baume de Rose certainly does. I find it much more creamy and luxurious, and the flavour is a lot less sweet 🌹 x

Nice list!! Some of my favorites in there, like the Fresh Caramel, I also reccommend their Lemon flavor, its amazing too. For Glossier I love the Birthday balm dot com,( for its flavor and subtle glitter), the berry and the new wild fig (for their subtle tint and scents). Also been loving the Pat McGrath Luxe lip balm tin in the clear because of the texture, its like nothing else... The Tatcha Camellia gold spun, the Clinique moisture surge lip hydro plump treatment (might be my #1, its magical) The Bite Agave lip balm in the bullet (obsessed with the scent and really nourishing texture), The sol de Janeiro Brazilian Kiss, the Farmacy Honey butter lip balm, the Huda Beauty silk balm, the Hempz Original tube balm (smells and tastes like citrus and legit good weed, and makes lips dewy and plump, amazing) , The Jo Malone Vitamin E lip conditioner (a black tube, smells like honey, pretty great) and last but certainly not least, and this one is an oil technically but I use it non stop since I got it, because it smells fabulous and actuyally made my lips look like the ones in the demo picture on sephora, is the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Lip oil crystal elixir, I am absolutely OBSESSED with this one, oh and it smells like lemon sugar cake or something...... . I have alot more but those are some favorites. And dont even get me started on tinted balms lol, like Bobbi Brown extra lip tint bare nude, or Fresh Sugar Honey, or Kiehls Butterstick in Naturally Nude, or the Givenchy Le rose perfecto liquid balms in 17 nude chill and 19 woody red... I could go on and on lol I have a bit of a lip balm obsession... anyway any of these Ive mentioned are Fantastic, so I thought Id share... Xx :)

The bite beauty nighttime lip therapy (the one in a pot) is my all time favorite! It’s so creamy and hydrates better than their original mask imo. The Tatcha lip masks are another favorite of mine.

My favorite lip balm is The Body Shop Born Lippy in Strawberry/Watermelon. I know the jar packaging make it less hygiene, but i really love it since i was 8 so i buy a spatula for it. I can't live without that lip balm (Anyway, english isn't my first language, I apologize if there's any mistaken)

Living in a desert and working outside, lip balm is important in my life. Lately I've been trying out Cerave healing ointment as a night treatment. Seems to moisturize okay, but I had a little bit of redness/bumps under my lips the other morning, so I might be overusing it. Other products I like: Evanhealy lip balm, Treat lip balm and moisture stick, Cocokind Mymatcha stick. For something a little more glossy, I like Laneige lip glowy balm in berry. I'm trying to reduce my use of plastics, so I've been on the lookout for a good lip balm that comes in a cardboard tube for use on the go.

i think it's always been burts bees vanilla bean, or a local brand's FSS buttered lip balm in vanilla bean (which has SPF15 !). i much prefer stick because i usually apply mine on the go. planning to try out mecca cosmetica's balm when i go back to australia!

I love Smith's Rosebud Salve, Homeoplasmine (just ran out of my 3rd tube), Aquaphor, and this little Canadian brand chapstick from "Province Apothecary" right now! I Also love the Burts Bees black cherry lip balm purely for the smell. Been through 2 tubes of Fresh lip tints but they kind of get caught in the back of my throat and leave a weird waxy feeling in my mouth so NEVER AGAIN lol. Same with Glossier Balm Dot Calm, that had a weird wax smell i didn't care for and it tasted baaad.

Been using the Blistex Lip Conditioning Balm after your first lip balm product pile video and I love it so much! Something I have to share though is the Ettusais Lip Essence Treatment (the little light green tube). Picked it up a year ago in Japan with a friend. Bought it completely on a whim because the weather conditions in Japan did something terrible to my lips and the lip essence was only a couple hundred yen (like $3AUD?). Turned out to be one of the best purchases of my trip! It's so good and cheap, the only downside is that it's so small I'm kind of reluctant to use it until I can get my hands on a ton of back ups ^^"
