first time I ever heard Chaka's voice, I was 5 yrs old...and had slept the night over at a school mate's house....it was a Friday night...he was white..and his Mom and stepdad, were buddies with my Mom and stepdad. Jason's folks were having a party for their next door neighbor...me and him are upstairs in his room...the smell of weed was ALL OVER THE HOUSE. And out pops this song and THIS VOICE on their turntable. I was like, "who is that?!". And Jason goes "you never heard of Chaka Khan?". And Ive been a fan ever since..Im 53 now.

Lisa is one of the greatest vocalist alive! I am still wearing out the how can I easy the pain CD! Love her energy!

A lot of people don't get the impact that Chaka Khan had and still have on singer and musciians. Chaka has influence so many singers and musicians. People will not give her credit and always have something negative to say about her. Even in her prime in the 70's people hated on her. You just can't deny the VOICE!

She’s so damn cool and sexy herself. It’s rare. So, it don’t matter. The haters are still hating and she’s still Chaka Khan. It takes class to know class. But, in the end, I don’t care what class you put them in. It don’t take long to call the roll.

Actually, the first time I ever heard of Lisa Fischer was a Chaka Khan concert on video. She introduced Lisa Fischer and let her do a solo and Lisa's vocals were incredible... There's so many, too many singers, to mention that are "Underrated", and in the Music Industry, everyone is not going to be big. However, from my vantage point, the two singers, who are awesome and didn't make it big... Lisa Fischer and Regina Belle. Also, I always got to give up to Chaka Khan for helping so many singers and people in general. She's a good friend of mine and I love her dearly. Take care 💋

Chaka sings so effortlessly with a “velvet voice”. She can also sing just about any genre of music🧡.

Wow..I needed this my mom was good friends with Lisa's best friend TB and I met and hung out with her with my mom ( who just passed in Oct)one weekend as a teenager when she was touring with the Rolling Stones while in NYC, great funny wonderful lady.
