i think an awesome idea was if you reach the top of fuck you mountain with nern in your party hell come out starting how this reminds him of a story and he dumps a large amount text on you.

I found out about Lisa from -utg- a certain website about 2 weeks after Undertale's release. I like both games equally. Earthbound is overrated as hell btw.
I'd say they are both in the same family though. Meticulously crafted, multiple playstyles accommodated, uncovering the plot is an investigation, trying things out IS the tutorial, and multiple plays required to see it all.
@@Funkopedia have you even played the game ? The plot is laid out right in front of you, trying things out being the tutorial is basic good game design, and you can play the whole game once to see most of it (as long as you start with pain mode, which would be surprising)
@Tucker Johnson Same here. RPG games should focus on throwing creative elements at the face of the player. Because most of the time the gameplay will suck dick. For example, the gameplay of Pokemon games is not fun. It's almost as if they try to make the battles as boring as possible. But why do I like them? Because there is a 3 headed ostrich named Dodrio.

I like how at 2:43 when he says "you should definitely turn back when you get to that part" as a viewer you think that those two areas that he cuts to are connected, when in reality the second area is at the end of the game so when you first watch the video you think "haha funny joke" but when you actually play the game you realize that Dunkey was saying that you should stop playing the game once you get to that part because past that point it starts getting super fucked up. Absolute genius way of covering up spoilers while still showing what the game is all about. Lisa the painful a life ruining experience.
The worst part of the middle finger tower, is that... you know there's something useless there. You never climb that rope with the hopes of finding something useful at all. No, you know it but we had to climb it. we just had. AND THE MOST UNEXPECTED PART ITS NOT BEING ABLE TO JUST JUMP OFF AND DIE. That! made me angry.
In the fan made Lisa: the hopeful, nearing the end of the game you find this exact tower, and this time there is a guy on a cliff cheering you on at the halfway point. There is also a note at the top saying, "this has got to be your fourth time up here, hasn't it?"
I wouldn't say strongest. In terms of strength, the strongest one who would deal the most damage in 1 turn is RT. The most useful one is Birdie. But Terry is still pretty solid, because not of his Hottest Dance, but because of Cool Dance and Piss Off.
Dunkey made the game look hilarious, which I loved. Be careful when playing it though, it’s funny in a lot of parts, but it can also get super serious and heartbreaking. It was really an emotional roller coaster, but I loved it. It’s my favorite game to date.
Terry is a mockery of traditional tutorials, yet, he actually provides one of the best tutorials of all time. By making his regular attack do next to no damage, it encourages the player to experiment with is other moves and apply debuffs which in this game (which can be challenging at times) is mandatory. You cannot win by just doing raw damage, you need buffs and debuffs, and terry makes this clear to you in the first part of the game without directly telling the player. Its honestly ,in my opinion, one of the best tutorials in video game history after knack.
Not to mention he snowballs so fucking hard. This game rewards you for sticking with the shit. Doing everything in your power to make the game difficult for yourself provides you with a much easier endgame. Ever use Terry's "The Hottest Dance" in conjunction with Birdie's Gasoline Spit? It's insane.

You forgot about those fucking leeches that try to mimic Dunkey's humor by using "Dundis" every other word. And they always get voted to the top somehow.
The crazy part is that a lot of the humor is also tragic. I thought a lot of the characters were funny and stuff and then it dawned on me, a lot of these people are probably insane. No one knows what happened to the world, its just a barren nothing now and there's no hope or direction for the world to go in. Everyone is living in a world in their mind now to alleviate the pain of hopelessness. And fucking trust me, hopelessness is absolutely soul crushing.

The world's in ruins because the Earth's rotation slowed down, causing massive winds and the like. But yeah, the absence of women has pretty much driven all the men insane. This whole series is a fucked up masterpiece. Lisa killed herself in the first game.
After watching this video, i decided to buy Lisa along with the DLC to give it a go, this game seemed really funny. ...I blame you for everything i went through, Dunkey.

It's not even dunkey magic. Most of the game is tragic, of course, but it also has a ton of humor imo, just that most of it's dark, or mixed with sad moments.
Hell yeah. LISA is one of my favorite games of all time and was sadly overlooked due to the much more talked about Undermeme. Glad dunkey went back and checked this game out.
Jason Wierman but there shouldn't be a problem with LISA being popular. It's a single player game, there should be no amount of popularity that can ruin it. And if you don't like people talking about it don't listen to people talking about it.
You know what if it turns out like Undertale then good, because those devs be making bank now. I never understood not wanting the creators of things you like to be rewarded for all their hard work and creative effort. Wanting a game to remain obscure is literally the same thing as wishing that the people who made it have less money to feed their families.

awsumpops after playing 1300 hours of tf2, two seasons of 6s, and 50 hours of overwatch, I enjoy overwatch much more. tf2 is garbage. decent skill ceiling garbage but still garbage.

His skills are amazing and not only that, his damage scales differently than everyone else's. He goes up exponentially while everyone else is linear. Also he combos with another character to deal 6000 damage a turn
Yeah while I am happy dunkey's playing it, I'm afraid that a lot of unwanted people are going to join the community and ruin LISA for me like people did with Undertale EDIT: I still like Undertale as a game, but I can't as much since it's hard to not associate it's terrible fanbase with the game
The fandom will remain small because it's not something TONS of people would find interesting. Just let the developer enjoy a little extra success, sheesh.

Never heard of the game until today. Personally, I'd prefer LISA to get some attention so the developer can make more sales, and be pushed or inclined to make more games like this. Heck, I'm now interested, regardless of the fanbase/popularity of the game. It's completely irrelevant to my experience. Also, it's a single player game. Why does anyone care what anyone else thinks about a fanbase/popularity of the game? The developer isn't a huge AAA company that is seeking to make endless sequels and ruin the legacy of their titles. I'll never understand why the internet worries about such insignificant attributes like a game's fanbase, or lack thereof.
