Watched this on my crappy bedroom TV audio while cleaning,decided it was so good I decided to listen again with earbuds to cook breakfast (stoneground grits,the kind that takes 30 min to do it right) and do the dishes( my least favorite domestic task). Of course it was so good I had to stop and watch a little. Got lucky and ate to Cover Me Up. As a reward to myself when I need a break from all this cleaning I will sit and watch again without distraction and sing along to many of the songs I know. I sent this video to my daughter (almost 26)who likes most my taste in music accept anything that sounds country. I think it is a great introduction concert. Thanks for uploading and making my Sunday. FYI. I am 66 and I think he is the best songwriter/musician out there currently. If someone compares plz let me know. I am always looking for truth in art

Victim of Nostalgia, maybe Tanqueray. All brilliant poetry that any of us who lived on a left of Center growing up. Nothing wrong with that. We had fun and raised a little Hell growing up. I saw Isbell live in Milwaukee opening for Todd Snider back in 2014 and he was incredible. He's grown so much since and is truly a terrific artist. Am I the only one bothered by the crowd noise (chatter/laughter) mid song?

I think "Stockholm" underrated. Cracking pre and chorus x2 on that.

Also, very wierd to watch the drummer (song approx 6-9 mins), he's working away on that tom with a soft ended stick like every other drummer would work a hi hat or ride, though you can't really hear it. Lots to see if you pay attention :)
