Judge Scott Green sentenced Robin Howington to 22 years in prison for the shooting death of her daughter Destiny, saying he did not believe Howington’s claim that her 2-year-old son fired the weapon. “I will never believe that. I don’t think you were honest with the jury about that,” Judge Green told a tearful Howington Friday as he issued his sentence. “You are not the victim in this case.”
not a tear came from her eyes, she is the biggest lyer in the world, since when does a 2 year old get a gun off a shelf and pull the trigger, it is hard for an adult to pull the trigger does she think we are all so dumb we can't see thru that, the 2 year old is barely walking let along he climbs up or puts on her high heels like she said and reaches up and gets a gun then runs out and shoots his sister, what a laugh, she is such an idiot. they should have tested the little 2 year old who does not have a full vocabular yet, see what he can do or maybe that would be stupid because most people would know that the 2 year old could not do what she said.
exactly, im also questioning if that's the so-called story did they check into it? like... did they measure the 2yr olds height, and if he held it does it measure up to the angle it entered her body?
That is what I thought. Guess the judge has never owned a firearm. I own one and never fired it but I know better than that. It takes some strength to pull a trigger. Mine does not have a safety but I keep it in a gun safe or on top of my China cabinet when my grandsons are around. When we visit them we place it on their refrigerator. Just dumb. I have even some to my oldest grandson, just turned six. If you want to know about our firearms just ask. I told him to ask before and we will show him the firearm but he is not to handle them without us. Not that he could even pull the trigger on mine but I am not taking chances. I don’t understand how they think a two years old pulled a trigger. Boggles the mind! 🤦♀️
@@susiefoxy8130 A firearm shots no one. Why is it this administration wants to give guns to illegal aliens and take the from law abiding citizens. Most of those killings are from people that obtain guns illegally. Not always, sometimes an intruder gets shot. Let me share a story. A new mother who also happened to be a new widow was on her home when two men tried to break in. She was on the phone with 911. If she would not have shot the intruders her baby and her would have probably been killed or worse. Her husband died overseas.
I was disappointed that during the victim impact, the dad spoke more about how his relationship with her affected him than about how he was emotionally effected by the death of his daughter. He seems to want vengeance more than anything else. He blames everybody else for not telling him where his daughter was over a 7 month period but where was he? It just seems everybody failed this little girl. I hope she is happy in heaven now. 🙏
The boy most likely did it .. forensic evidence showed it was 2 feet away from the girl laying on the couch at an awkward angle bullet hit the girls hand holding the remote then her chest. Mom was busy doing drugs and she came out out of her mind high and made irrational unemotional decisions, probably more worried about how was going to affect her getting taking and selling drugs
@@denitzilla Oh, I didn't know that, about the forensic evidence. I didn't actually watch the trial: too distressing. I think you are right about the irrational decisions because she's high, too. TY.
Exactly. She's only remorseful for herself. She "real-cried" when her attorney was talking about her being the victim and then fake--cried when her daughter's death was discussed. Based on her actions after her daughter was killed and her testimony, she'll never hold herself accountable or have any remorse.
Again, logically speaking, if it’s true that “she wanted to protect Gavin,” then why even utter that he did it? Why didn’t she take the blame? That’s where it all falls apart.
That poor 2 year old is going to see this trial later in life and he will wonder if he really killed his sister and that is just going to pile on trauma. This woman is despicable. I hope he sees our comments then and know that we never believed his mother
He’s a 2 year old. She knew he’d never be charged or blamed. What would she be protecting him from? She’d be charged with negligence and child endangerment for him having access and playing with it. Thats less time than murder, so it makes complete sense she would try that when the other two reasons didn’t work. None of these reasons are even true, and I haven’t even watched this trial. Not worth my time. Lock her up, move on.
Exactly If a 2 year old had done it They would Not be Criminally Responsible Her BS Story doesn't make One bit of sense If anything a person would Lie And say that a 2 year old did it Because of that fact alone And to try to cover up for the One who did do it
This chic’s boyfriend and the father was a black guy who was a drug dealer. She tried to blame him at first. She was a drug addict! Then she stated her 2 year son shot the victim. She’s absolutely disgusting!! She should have gotten more years!! 😡😡
Wait one damm minute the father could not go to his daughter funeral she definitely deserved consecutive sentence she is terrible she will get what is coming to her in jail
Why do they always say concurrent!? It should be consecutive! Now she can be out in 18 years! I don’t believe the 2 year old pulled the trigger! I feel the father has a good case against the state because they really dropped the ball!
@@Sweetpea064 I wonder the same thing! Time off for good behavior really gets me! It’s like passing a child in school to the next grade not because they got good marks but because they behaved!
Listening to the fathers statement it seems the SYSTEM failed this innocent child MULTIPLE times and ole grandma should be facing charges of her own!!!! This poor baby deserved SO much more than what she got 🙏
She's a disgrace for a mother!!!! To blame her own baby boy for killing he's sister so disgusting!!!! Thank God she's behind bars for a long time . RIP beautiful girl .
She said that the two-year-old got the gun, and the camera recorded her tossing her ‘friend’s gun under the shrubbery. But she hasn’t learned how to safely keep a firearm from her two-year-old after such a tragedy? Someday the son, after going back to his father, will have to be told the truth: his mother not only killed his sister out of spite and cruelty, but tried to tell the police that his father killed his daughter, before telling them that her two-year-old did it. Sit up straight, this is a bad day of judgement. No more fancy hair straighteners for this woman.
I really wish the judge would’ve let the prosecution speak more. A lot of things weren’t allowed in trial and I feel like the sentencing phase ties up those loose ends for us viewers that are watching.
It’s glaring! Every word a lie, blamed everyone else, hide evidence, on & on. No conviction for her lie if PTSD, another story. Between her criminal acts, fake crying & snorting, her attorneys outrageous yelling of she’s the victim of mean people, I was so ready to see her sentencing. Shocking too little! Upsetting!
I don’t believe she was raped either, she prob slept with the guy and then reported it as rape because she saw it as a way of manipulating the system…. Which she has always done imo!
What-she was raped by a police officer? But murder of a young child is worse than what was done to this defendant. She did a plea agreement? And lastly, no, she isn’t hurt as badly as the brothers and father were hurt.
Look at her posture. Look how she has placed herself in relationship to her attorney. Look at her expression. Look at how she shakes her head to move her hair. Look at where her eyes are looking. Her non-verbal body language is that of a rebellious teenager who is bored to tears and refuses to accept or take responsibility for her actions. What type of person does this? A sociopath.
Watching Howington sit there and shake her head during the victim impact statement, makes it clear to me that she has not remorse or shame in what she's done. She's taken no accountability and she never will. That won't ever bode well for her in the system. I'm so angry with her right this moment! Shame on this woman's lack of remorse and accountability.
I completely agree, but of course she also did her FAKE crying all through the trial!! I feel so bad for Destiny's Daddy. I as well, am angry. I think she truly "thought" PTSD was going to get her a slap on the wrist. SO glad the judge and jury saw through all her fakeness and lies!!
@@positivelycincereYeah shifting stories, showing no remorse, crying for herself, covering evidence, blaming it on kid. Not good points for going to the parole board.
I know a lawyer gets paid to do a job, but it’s saying how her lawyer just tried to get her out of everything even though she killed her own child and then tried to blame the two year-old for sick Justice
" I was raped and I suffered from PTSD. Don't ya understand it, ma'm?" ...."I can't recall!"....." I don't remember!"....."I tried to protect my son! Don't ya understand it, mam?" .......Defense: "My client was suffering from PTSD your honor!"......
wrong jury something made them suggest 22 years instead of life, the judge should really have questioned that one for sure. maybe they will kill her in jail.
I’ve been so upset that I had no tears. The last time I remember that happening was when I suffered a miscarriage. I was crying hysterically, but no tears came out. I was completely distraught and in complete despair. It’s hard to explain.
It is so sad that murdering child would only merit such a short prison sentance. Our country continues to fail our most precious, our future, our children. Tears for the most innocent and most vulnerable gone to soon.
Love how judges cut it all back and give a clear accurate summary of how things happened ... they have obviously taken everything in to be able to do this
You killed you're own daughter, you're own flesh and blood??? A mother? I think not😢 Heartbreaking for the poor father and other children! 😢😢😢 RIP BABY GIRL 😢❤❤
Real time to serve us about 17 years now! For a child life! Concurrent! She could have added 20 more crimes to her already 20 and still get less than 20 years. How is that justice. Everything she did was awful, every lie, every justification & blame, hiding evidence, insane stories! She should pay the dad’s attorney fees in restitution . I liked this judge until his sentencing. He made her day, for sure! Her ugly pound friend & fake crying was gone then. This way too little of a sentence was shocking!
When I think of all the loving families looking to adopt it breaks my heart. Both these kids could've been in loving, safe, amazing homes. I know because after I gave birth to two of my own biological children, I was lucky to have adopted a baby from my cousin who knew she couldn't raise him right. That led us to adopting another baby only a few months later. They have been SUCH A HUGE, HUGGE BLESSING to us. Hearing from the mother & the father I just feel like these kids would've been better off adopted. She's selfish and careless, but so was the father. All he's talking about is him. Both continue to blame other people. May this baby girl rest in peace now & forever 🙏🏼
You are absolutely right and a great human being and loving mother, you are terrific, love people that have love for adopptions, we seem to be losing children to bad parents when they could be adopted. I wish I was young again I would adopt all of them. Good for you.
Remember she said that her 3yr old son pushed a stool to the closet, put on high heels because he was too short to reach the gun, climbed on the stool with the heels on, got the gun, walked to the living room and shot the other child. Then the mom said a random black man walked into the house shot the kid and ran out. Then she said it was the baby daddy not a random. Then she said it was Gavin.. Then she threw the gun into a bush and said she didn't know where it was. Then she said she has PTSD. Where's the truth hm ?
I remember how her story changed so many times and she still only got 22 years, there is something wrong there, life life without parole. do it over judge have more control, take a look at the lies, none of them made sense you should have been be able to figure that it was her all along, judge you need to be more careful, I think you made a bad mistake with 22 years.
She deserves every second of those 22 years and then some. I’m glad he didn’t waste time by making consecutive when it would have been appealed down anyways. This judge knows his stuff and worked perfectly within the system in front of him.
A small child is dead because of her! 85% time from the sentence, time served, she walks out of court with about 16 years! All concurrent, all she did, hide, lied, broke the law so many times the judge quit counting & none of that mattered? Why? She could have committed 10 more crimes, kept going & still get the same sentence. That doesn’t make sense! Judge said unique case, yes it is. Because she has behaved awful since the gun went off! Restitution, pay the child’s father’s court cost after accusing him! I became so disgusted by her fake ugly crying face with crocodile tears & her attorneys outrageous behavior, yelling at witnesses! Even yelling at detectives about their outrageous behavior when finally yelled at her. Watch the whole video. Interrogations need to get to the truth not ask did ask and then say okay, thank you, bye. And sick of the PTSD rabbit hole they go down. No conviction there either. But it must be true, right!
It's OK to see the facts in this case and make decisions accordingly. God is our ultimate judge , however he places persons to judge matters in our court systems The bibles tells us to obey the laws of the land. Its illegal to murder.
Does anyone know the motive for her un-aliving her daughter? Problems with daddy? Money? Can't take it anymore, too many kids!..... why would she do this???
I’m appalled that she only got 23 years. She committed murder for crying out loud. Plus being a drug dealer and a liar. She will have the chance to start a new life while Destiny lies in a casket with no future. Shame on you and unfortunately, the court.😡
@@Justaskme781 no accident here, all planned she was the biggest liar with such cock and bull stories, I was thinking she thought we are all so dumb we wouldnt see the real truth . WE ALL SAW THE REAL TRUTH.
