Liverpool officially announce Arne Slot as new head coach

Liverpool have confirmed that Arne Slot will be Jurgen Klopp's successor as head coach, and the former Feyenoord manager will start as head coach for the club on June 1st 2024, on what Sky Sports News believes to be a three year contract.

Klopp was always more like Paisley than Shankly but Pep had an advantage that prevented him from winning at least 3 more PL titles. There will never be another Shankly and hopefully Liverpool will never need another

I believe he will do well but also remember the euros are this summer that will have an impact on his pre season and setting his ideas from the get go. Might take a couple of months before we see the best of his work. Which means could be a good run in the CL and as long as we get top 4 again. The second season is where he will prob have the biggest impact

Let’s not downplay what Klopp have done at Liverpool. Took LIVERPOOL to 3 champions league finals which 2 of those was back to back even if he only won 1. Also took the team to 7+ finals throughout his tenure at the club. Challenge a Man city side that has 115+ charges of breach fair play rules to acquire the talent pile they have now.
