Your comment re :Great Charollette Street on the big gates was the entrance to the old wholesale fish market.My dad had a stall in there as well as a shop #29 on Great Charollette street and also had a stall #100 in the old St John's market

Further to my previous comment I add the following Nexr door to the big gates(the old wholesale fish market) going down towards the Royal Cout was a pub named the Melborne and next to that was my dads shop.accross which was the old StJohns Market.
