What I thought was extraordinary was that Loic, at age 18, wrote the music to the song himself and sang it brilliantly, and that was before I found out he also did the choreography, light effects,... that's crazy for a kid that was still in school at the time :)

He was 19 back then, he staged the whole performance, effects and wrote this masterpiece of a song and he had NO VOICE CRACKS. If that ain't a winner then Eurovision is more of a joke than I expected it to be in its latest form. He came 4th, with a performance worth for 1st place.
Yes - it's unbelievable that THIS song with THIS performance was not on the first place. The best proof for me that really good music is not for the masses....
to be fair, 2014 was a very strong year in terms of songs. Seeing that Austria and Germany both ended up with 0 points in the final tells a story on its own as these songs weren't that bad actually
5 years later and I am still shocked that this song didn't win. He is so an amazing singer and he sings those high notes while laying on the grouns! He even does a pirouette out of no where. I know that he choreographeed it himself which makes it even more fantastic!
I love how they work with not many instruments, have the voice presented mainly and create such a great atmosphere and desire to dance. No designer dresses, no light show. Just the singing.
it was the most *modern entry* this year and deserved to do well... didnt expect russia and italy to be up there so i had belgium on 2nd place but hey... im just glad there is people out there with some good taste still. Go belgium!

Why ? Why do you care so much even 6 years later ? I don't understand you guys... Every year you're gonna have a favorite and maybe he's not gonna win so what ? Is that Really important ? It's a contest with televoting, so it's kinda normal for not having the same taste as everyone, and there is the jury too, means that they're more qualified than 99% of public 🤷🏼♀️ Sometimes my faves don't even go To the finals so i'm a little bit disappointed but i'm not mad and go To the comments section for saying that I'm angry because it didn't win, idfc. I’m a swede and I think that Belgium deserved to win 2015 more than Sweden. I’m still listening to this almost 6 years later. Well done Belgium, very good perform.
Loïc has talent but some people don't see that 😔 i'm from Belgium and i love his song i also love the song from Sweden but it's a ESC song so people love it and Loïc's song isn't like that .. That is why Sweden has won the show..❤️ (sorry for the bad English)

There's something extremely satisfying about their performance. Combination of this sound, visuals, expressions and emotions just speaks to me on a different level.
7 years and I am still not over the fact he didn’t win, this guy is literally a young genius. Definitely a stand out among 100 lookalike EDM songs about love.
It took me time to like this song, but it's brilliant. And what I like the most of his performance is the such a terrific actor he is. He acts like a psycho, and he looks very dark during the song. Then he stops singing. His face relaxes, he looks like a kid again and he says, almost whispers, with the sweetest voice "Thank you". I just love it, every time I watch it.

I was 8 years old back then. I can still remember my dad being absolutely blown away by this performance (and that doesn’t happen very oftewel) and being really furious about him not winning the contest. I am really happy this got our best result in years. Very proud of my country ❤️! By far one of the best songs and performances we have had! Good job Loïc!

Loic Nottet truly deserves more recognition and popularity. I mean his voice and the notes he hits are just breath taking. He is so unique and an amazing dancer as well!

It literally got 4th but I've the same opinion😂 maybe because it's by far not mainstream enough for the casual listener but if you give it a chance it is almost impossible to dislike these amazing vocals with that unique voice that he has It is also so memorable which makes it even better I just love every second about it
