For the Vittune, he’s going to send you a base calibration to get you started and he’ll provide you the exact instructions on how you’re supposed to drive with the data log. In general, the instructions will consist of either 20-25 minute part throttle runs, 3rd gear WOT runs, or a mix of both. Once your drive is complete, you send him the logs, he does his magic, and he’ll send you a new calibration for you to log. It is a lengthy process and it took me about 3 months to complete the tune.

Definitely get a vit tune... the basemaps are just basemaps to get your car to a tuner, not to push your car on them. Vit will send you a basemap of his own and then ask you for different datalogs. (e.g drive 30 mins without hitting vtec, do a 3rd gear pull WOT.. etc. Super easy. Definitely get one.

i just ordered my vittune, tune and flashpro afew days ago they have some basic instructions on his website but im sure you get specific instructions when he sends the tune

Don’t meant to revive an old thread , but I was wondering how do you add a calibration hat is sent. For example I’m about to start etuning with dan from e-tunez when he sends my first calibration , how do I get it from the email to the flash pro ?

Hey I got a question, how do you get that 1st to 2nd gear to stop grinding at redline? Any idea besides a transmission rebuild???

Sergio Aguirre hey thanks!!! And I did the setup it was easy and it worked lol I did a test drive after and it worked. It doesn't grind but for some reason I'm still hesitant to redline first into second...

They are all wrong. Do not touch none of that crap lol.. it's called a Clutch Delay Valve (CDV) and it comes in most newer cars... Essentially it's to help rookies shift smoother but reduces pros like us from shifting quickly. Check out videos on how to remove it, takes about 1.5-2 hours total and it's free.

Also recommend changing your clutch lines to braided stainless steel (SSL) for your clutch as you are going to be removing the master cyl anyways, it'll improve responsiveness from foot down to clutch plate. Also like he said, I got a new rear motor mount (RMM) and it helps a lot with that bounciness!
