That’s not incredibly unrealistic depending on what they did before. But only if she had an athletic background in something that lends well to gymnastics like martial arts.
Not to mention that starting at 9 is really late. It’s so important to get a strong foundation (without huge skills) when you are young in order to prevent yourself from getting hurt
@@sharjjahnaziz4122 There was no need for your dipshit response. Apparently 269 didn’t have a problem with it . Now be gone troll 🙋🏽♂️🙋🏽♂️🙋🏽♂️🙋🏽♂️🙋🏽♂️
@Ann Carr What is notable is that about 30 years ago, you could hardly find a Black girl in elite gymnastics. It is fantastic that the sport has now come to be more inclusive and that Black girls also have the opportunity to excel. Women like Dominique Dawes, Gabby Douglas, and Simone Biles have really helped to give young Black girls role models to look up to and see that they too can achieve excellence.
@@bethaniefrederickson3305 it’s not about race but I’m still gonna celebrate a successful young black woman when for years past we haven’t been given the same opportunities!
If she’s a high school senior, olympics won’t be her path. Probably college, she would’ve had to go elite a long time ago in order to achieve that. That’s the great thing about gymnastics, there are multiple paths you can take!
Unfortunately she probably won’t. D1 college gymnatics though does feature a lot of skills used in Olympic routines. She’s a little old for the Olympics, as she would’ve had to start training elite awhile back and started training for the Olympics also earlier. But college is awesome too
@@Ella-fv4hm how is she old for the Olympics? If she wanted to try for the 2024 Olympics she could definitely turn some heads. She’ll be 21 in 2024, younger then members of the 2016 us team, and younger the biles. She also hasn’t been competing as long so she body hasn’t been abused as much as most elite gymnastics.
Why are some of y’all so offended at people saying “black girl magic” or “black gymnast”? We’re celebrating the history and community of black athletes who didn’t always have the opportunities to shine they way they do today!
Niecy Allison Yea..probably DID make her day to see that Simone tweeted out the video. But I'm so surprised that SImone wouldn't take the time to have written some KUDOs or something to this basically unknown high school gal who can do with perfection this unique and difficult "Biles" element. And BRIE CLARK did it well!!
Woohoo! Here for that black girl magic! Also, the reporter said Simone is the most decorated female gymnast but isn’t she just the most decorated. Period? Female or male.
@@jdoveyk9422 What? She the most decorated gymnast meaning she has the most medals of any gymnast. This isn't some pc pronoun contest. It's just a fact
@@jayaye1055, you seem to only breed new hate and convince others of the same. Do you see her trainers? They are all white but yet you don’t see any “white magic.” Come on, aren’t we better than this? Who cares what color our skin is, it doesn’t define us. “To stop racism we must simply stop talking about it.”... Morgan Freeman.
The dedication and commitment of these girls is just incredible. So awesome when it pays off for them in such an amazing way as this. Couldnt be more deserving.
Not likely. But it goes to show you that there is so much potential that doesn't get tapped early enough nor invested enough. She clearly had the potential to be on elite path. She will go to college as a pre-med and rep that gymnastics team.
@@creating1_c1999 Nothing wrong with tumbling for USU. It's a good school. And to be honest Med school to me is more important than Gymnastics. Also, sticking the Biles is great, but doing a hard move in your Gym, with your friends is a far cry from an International meet, where you must have a complete great floor exercise, and a great vault, and great bars and beam routines, under enormous pressure and maybe a not so friendly European or Asian crowd.
At the tip top of a sport, amongst only the extremely talented and dedicated, one can begin to discern what is, in addition to talent and training, the ideal body shape/type for that sport. This girl is built _just like_ Simone Biles.
What an amazing young woman! She is going places with her life. She is so talented on the gym floor but is also very intelligent and well spoken and carries herself well. Wish her all the best! You go girl!!!
That’s what I’m talking about Brie!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🔥🔥🔥 Well done, and you also got a shout out from Simone herself! Way to go, you are on your way young lady!!!!
The atheist in me vomits at that lol. It's down to her training and determination. God is a construct for mental survival, grown into political control for thousands of years. Yup, I'm having a bad day and taking it out on religion.
@@brionyhall4250 Disagree with everything you said. We are religious because we are. Everyone even you. Maybe you just don't understand what you worshipp.
