My main crank bearings have started to spin in the cases so I'm trying the retainer in the hope it will solve the problem 🤞. Never used the retainer before so I don't know if it's going to work or not. www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B073JF6Y7...
In all honesty mate I've still not had it run in yet I've had it fired up a couple of times and it's been fine but obviously not the same as ringing it's neck round the track. it's deffinatly worth a try 👍🏻
Any report on this repair? Thinking about doing this on my Snowmobile, PTO Bearing has some slight wear in the case. was going to just put a LIGHT little coat....
Do you think this will keep my inner race from spinning on my ski doo pto bearing? Its a low mile sled but went to grease the pro and noticed the inner race moving.
Couldn't say 💯 to be honest depends what's taking most the load the inner or outer race? On mine the inner is taking majority of the load and I've glued the outer, if your inner race isn't supposed to spin an the outer is taking the load its definitely worth giving it a go. Mines still working a treat 👌. I've no experience with a skidoo though 🙆🏻♂️. Hope you get sorted 👍🏻
Agree. I have used 620 forever no issues. Loctite website even states for transmission housing bearing retention etc. Higher temperature resistance. 638 should work o.k. though.
