I went through a similar thing 😭 Though I didn't believe the movie was real, it made me reevaluate if I was good in school just in case, if something like that was to happen.

nOOOO a similar thing happened to me. I remember seeing the thinning ads and being TERRIFIED. I didn't know until just now that logan paul was the main character or else i wouldnt have taken it seriously 😭😭

I think that if the movie addressed this issue, it would genuinely have the potential to be a commentary on how governments put more importance on corporations than they do on people. it has potential, but unfortunately it was made by people with air in their heads instead of brains

There kinda is though? Assuming this makeshift world finally did run low on resources, like hell most countries would actually follow the UN's proposal which wouldn't really sit well considering how the UN morally acts today. The UN today acting for humanitarian aid and human rights suddenly saying "hey kill 5% of your population" and every member collectively going "ok!". Along with that the thinning itself in the US makes no sense since they aren't actually killing anyone, in fact they're just working them and judging by the living quarters and their facial features and expressions they don't seem to he treated too terribly which means they're consuming quite a bit of resources. So the US is violating the UNs proposal... the UNs proposal is completely out of character. Despite lobbying from corps, people are electing representatives that advocate for this thinning, and the final scenes literally fly in the face of... several US laws and rights. It's never noted how this whole thing works, if it works through state or federal, and why a Texas governor can manipulate these data sets to swap the two just freely with 0 cover-ups. There's a few other loose points and weird quirks of the film, but the world building makes... kinda just... no sense? Motivations flip on their heads, and nothing aligns with anything right combined with absolutely Outlandish mistakes like the president. I think literally violating the First Amendment by taking action against political enemies just... out of nowhere without any word on any of the other branches...

I don’t think he’s good because he didn’t earn his way there. Indie-wrestlers work their asses off to even get a sniff at the WWE and here comes Logan Paul getting a golden pass because he’s a guy from the internet. Bad Bunny was a better wrestler because he’s not signed to contact and actually had a fantastic match with a big star in Damian Priest. Logan looked like an idiot for trying to taking on Roman. Dude can’t even promo worth a shit either.

Honkai usually gets over shadowed by it's little brother Genshin over there. But it's a fun game with a great story. I highly recommend.

You know it would have been better if it wasn't some generic action movies. It should have been about someone society deemed a failure to surpassing all expectations and proving the system is flawed.
