@@headforcosby nah 100% I agree with you my friend, you only allow words to have power. Do you mind me asking what part of Asia your friends from? Some places are grossly racist for the most part, I have a friend of mixed heritage, Chinese mother white father, looked more white but could pass for Chinese. You know .. I didn’t know about the song or really anything bout Chance .. and when I read this comment I thought u meant Chance loves Logic’s (his) wife.. and I was like wait, hold up-
Logic is a smart dude. He's capable of acknowledging that even though he IS black, he can't just go saying this word in public freely because it's too dangerous. I respect this man's way of thinking.
@Chandler Ignatowicz i am white and I agree, I would never say that word to anyone no matter the situation, however I am guilty of occasionally saying it when I'm singing along rappers music (as I've been rapping for 5 years now). I don't however use the word with any intent other than to create music
Latinos can say it due to the historical Background, the only thing that changed in the use of the word back then from the Spanish Slavers was the language
@thehandleisuseless no that's a bullshit excuse. They are not black and the word was never used for them so they don't have the same right to the word as black people do.
@@JohnCena-bt7sz And Hispanics also brought in Africans to use as slaves in Latin America. The Spanish were never called nigga, they called the slaves that word. So it's like saying that whites can use that word tbh.

I’m so impressed by Logic’s response. It’s so important to know when an argument isn’t worth your energy. Arguments about who should be allowed to say n***a or not are simply not worth the energy.
@@IkWeetHetOprechtNiet Logic himself seems less concerned about his right to say it or not than with the realization that it might cause pointless conflict. I can't see a reason you'd reply to my comment except to start pointless conflict... and it would be...very pointless.
You'd be surprised. The use of the word can result in careers ending even some deaths. There's alot of power behind the word and arguing against it is the only form of defense you have in using it.
@@TearyniteThere may not be enough context for my response since @I probably made you mad removed their original response to my comment. One thing Terrence Howard helped me realize is that people can function normally with something missing. In this instance we are so controlled by anger towards a period of time that we don’t realize we are missing a bigger problem. If the word was negative then no one should say it. However we accept it culturally as positive yet want to gate keep who says it. Either we turn it to a positive word and let the anger go or we turn it negative and keep the same energy all across the board. However us black folks feel like something was taken from us and it has! So we hold on to what we can, if we could find a way to gain back what was lost we would be able to move on
