Hi Rohman. This video is a true jewel. I never imagined to see this railway working. With its tracks like Decauville type, the cane beens and that engine...wow! In my country Cuba we had a wide narrow gauge network but only in three sugar mills the railway is active. We had similar engines, Plymouth, Whitcombs and others but no one working. The few remainig are english and russian locos. Is this in Java? Thank you for sharing so excellent video. Cheers
Yes, that's right, this is in Java. Why do you immediately know that this video is in Java? In the past, Java also had many narrow rail networks, but now many sugar factories left by the Dutch have closed due to a shortage of raw sugar cane. The locomotives used by Schoma were made in Germany. Your country used to produce the most sugar in the world.
@@RohmanChannel21 Hi again Rohman. I knew it is Java using the translator. My country is not more one of the great sugar manufacturer. In fact is in its worst momment in sugar industry. I loved that world and the most its steam engines. And among the steam engines the narrow gauge ones were my prefered. Now only one(0-6-0 in 30") is working but for tourist service. It is very interesting in your video to see those litle engines. I never could see the ones similar in Cuba in operation condition. Only in photos. But for me those litles are very interesting. @@RohmanChannel21 in my province we used to have large sugar beet factory and farms. But the companies closed the factories and farms. They moved south across the boarder. I am not aware of any operating narrow gauge other than museums, maybe the northern mines might, but I am not sure. We do have the Greater Winnipeg Water District (GWWD) railway. It is 102 miles long and is the only railway dedicated to serving an aqueduct which our city uses for fresh water. It is standard North American gauge

Karena jaringan relnya masih panjang mas jadi satu titik dibersihkan dan ganti titik lain dibersihkan nanti tumbuh rumput lagi.jaringan rel lori tebu disemua pabrik memang kayak gini om.kebanyakan langsung di terabas saja oleh Lokomotif dan setelah dilewati beberapa kali nanti jalur lorinya mulai kelihatan dengan sendirinya

@@suhaimisuhaimi8569 betul rel nya bongkar pasang, beda sama rel KAI yang permanen. ini dipakai saat musim panen tebu. Didepan rumah mertua sy juga ada rel lori tebu tapi yang permanen, buat angkut tebu dari Kab Magetan ke Madiun , sayang sudah tertimbun karena sdh didak beroperasi sejak th 90 an.

Dulu namanya tebu nasional Indonesia perawatan mulai angkutan sampe penahanan bagus, giliran di ganti dg tebu rakyat Indonesia, smua perawatan hancur ga jls, sekitaran th 75 mpe th 80 an smua tebu bagus, koko tenaga uap smua, jos , skrg gd perawatan asal numbuh tebu, jg akomodasi loko jg asal
the location of this small loko is not too far from PG Semboro heading south to be precise at the Wonoroto Umbulsari garden. start pulling sugar cane at 10 am to 12 noon. I also want to go there if you want we can meet at PG Semboro

Disini semboro Jawa Timur masih dipakai untuk angkut tebu.karena beberapa kebun truk tebu tidak bisa masuk jadi tetap pakai kereta lori tebu. Di Jatim tinggal PG Kedawung Pasuruan PG Jatiroto Lumajang PG Semboro Jember PG Wringin Anom Situbondo yg masih menggunakan armada lori tebu untuk angkut tebu dari kebun menuju pabrik gula

Ya tebu jd komoditi bnyk pengepul tebu bsr yg dikrm pkai truk gandeng ke malang n lamongan,klu tebu hijau jg ada khusus buat es tebu biasannya umur 8bln pnen tebu hijau aq jg tnm tebu hijau mau gnti tebu cening hitam yg tinggi bs 4m skrg brix tertinggi.

Kenapa perusahan tebu ini ga mau ganti rel sama bantalannya .padahal banyak yg bekas di statsiun kereta api daripada dibiarkan kropos ts karuan.mending sumbangkan ke pabrik tebu.
Karena relnya mulai terpendam ditanah makan jalannya nya Lokomotif sering selip.daya cengkraman roda terhadap rel berkurang.jadi harus ditaburi pasir pada rel agar roda Lokomotif tidak berputar ditempat dan daya cengkeram nya makin kuat.bahasa orang sini rodane gliser
Maybe in a year or two this locomotive will no longer be used. Because the truck fleet and roads are getting better in Indonesia. This rail was built during Dutch times and is still in use today.
@@RohmanChannel21 with proper maintenance it would last for years more but when it's totally destroyed they will be forced to use an alternative which will be more expensive
