When medical people say nothing can be done, it means they don’t know what to do. Don’t give up, find someone else like Dr Jefferson.

It’s one thing to be a confident doctor and an egotistical doctor. Dr. Jefferson is confident. If I have any foot issues, I’m driving down to DC to see him. If you personally can’t solve something in life in any issue under the sun, no shame in referring someone to another person if you can’t figure it out

This hit close to home, and it's not even related. My brother was diagnosed with a rare, under-researched condition, and the doctors said nothing could be done, gave him two years max. Eight years later and he's still kicking. It was a brutal wake up call to realize that doctors too have egos, and those egos traumatized my family. It would have been easier if they just admitted to not knowing, instead of guessing and putting my brother through those two years of hell.

I take care of my 87 yr old dad’s feet. I’ve learned a lot from watching you! Since he no longer works in the yard and isn’t as mobile his feet are much softer and less callused. I just trim the nails and moisturize his feet. He now has dementia and I’ve found he loves watching your videos!

Regarding my aunt who is 96 yrs, I learned the medical term for nail fungus is called ONYCHOMYCOSIS.

I’m from jersey as well and believe you me I’ve been contemplating making an appointment for myself. I have fungal nails on my 2 big toes. Dr I’ve been to act like there is nothing they can do about it.

I spent all last summer going to a dentist that i will not name. After 5 months of unsuccessful attempts to fix my teeth, he said "There's nothing more i can do for you . " He told me to find another dentist. I was shocked !

People should stop using the misleading term "athletes foot", as if it is something that is very healthy that especially athletes have. Because of that term, it often is totally not recognised for what it really is: a fungal infection.
