This begins our longest passage to date. The roughly thousand mile journey begins with the first mile. What makes this passage.... "more interesting".. is that we cannot really stop anywhere because all of the borders were closed. That combined with the fact that our boat doesn't carry enough fuel to motor the whole way back. So, sailing is non-optional. This is the first half of our journey as we get into the grove of living out in the middle of nowhere for the next two weeks.

Watching your adventure here in the Virgin Islands during our Covid restrictions was quite an experience! Next time your in our waters I will have some homemade cured, dried meat and tasty bar treats to help you along.(My husband said motoring up to Honu to give you folks a care package would have been weird!) We don’t really get dock rock anymore eg: the sensation of moving but on land. But after a passage of more than a few days it takes a day or two to not wake up in bed and think “where are we and how far have we gone”

Catamaran certainly make the long trips easy! SVC Delos has been hanging out in the ragged islands , isolating from the covid19 . Did you see them? That was also a almost unique sailing video , I don't think you showed us one meal or cooking segment! 👍 Cheers Warren

Dont use pop or beer cans on another channel last year they made home made lures and just as I got to the boat it popped out of the fish's mouth and laid his leg open down almost to the artery I mean he had to have many stitches bandages it was a real bloody mess watch

Why such limited water use since you have a watermaker?

Our watermaker isn’t very good. We have to run the generator which takes a lot of gas. It does about 10 gallons of water an hour and doesn’t get down to optimal levels of purity. It’s good for washing dishes and taking a shower in but not drinking. To save on gas we have to save on water basically. :)
