Four cars on the lead lap. Faster quick lap than your qualifying time. Truly an incredible performance. You were good years ago, but the speed, consistency, and stamina, all the while talking and reading is clearly world class.
As an Australian i have to comment on the graphics and scenery. Just incredible. That is Australia I was half hoping someone would crash into a house so we could see inside!! Fantastic race
'Blue Mood' - what a piece of music. I can just see the roads opening up ahead of me, sun lazily resting on the horizon, wind in my hair, mood...anything but blue. Blissful.
Couldnt stay awake for the livestram and I'm taking days to get through this but, it is brilliant in just about every aspect. The only downside is not being on track myself. Being an older Aussie who has done his fair share of travel around the Wide Brown Land, I can swear that the ambience of this track is a 100% authentic rendition of summertime rural southern Australia back in the day. It's totally dinkum mate. I know exactly what the beer would taste like in the Longford pub (cold and good) and the rustic etiquette involved in walking in off the street and being welcomed at the bar. I would have so dearly loved to participated in this series, but I've only been racing for a few years and my consistency isn't quite there yet for an such a hard and tiring gallop as this. Practicing for my first (only) 70 minute accelerated time Lemans 24 now. I hope that this GP Laps series is but the beginning, and that I'll be there for the next. And me wish is, next time you'll go back even further in time. Havent got to the end yet mate, but I hear on the grape vine that congratulations are in order. Bloody great Jake! Thanks. Edit. Great stuff, and great job putting this league together Jake. i will be tuning in for every meeting. :) and thanks for leave the live stream open all this time so i could catch up and see it all later on. also such great job by the creators of the Longford circuit, the landscape detail and even that distinctive sunlight have the quintessential Australian flavour. Absolutely amazing. I'm only just catching up now with my RU-vid watching after a big move, so this is a little late. I loved watching the onboard with Jake and his thoughts, then finding the broadcast and being able to see all the other little stories going on in other parts of the track. So fun, can't wait for round 2.
Great race Jacob and great video as always! I'm back to simracing in just over a year with GPL and now thinking about one of the newer sims, mostly interested in classic cars and online leagues for them
Maybe it's just me, but the thumbnail for this VoD says "Rouen". Other than that, an absolutely marvelous race. Great to see different strategic decisions play out with Jernei, but in the end you were simply faster than him and drove a clean race.

Is there any sim that can do 2player with ai, and additionally, any that could track that ai through a season? I would love to do something similar to your gpl 1965 series with my mom. Thanks!
