Not great, not terrible. I collected all of the blue gems in this video which triggers a minigame at the end of every level (unfortunately they are often times repeated and not all unique). You don't get anything unique for collecting all the gems except a lousy "congratulations" screen lol. Since they were mostly lossless to collect I didn't mind it
That Ice-Slide is FOREVER ETCHED in my memory because of how difficult it was. I still remember the sheer joy and elation I felt after FINALLY beating that stage. Really well made and fun game.
The pyramid levels are a nightmare. Never got past them as a kid because I would just wander around for hours in the puzzle rooms and find a better ps1 game to play due to my frustrations. I think the block puzzle was my breaking point.
Yeah I didn’t struggle there but my immediate thought was about how many people must’ve given up at that point. Sucks because the game disguises itself as a childs platformer and the difficulty just ramps up later in the game
Ice slide and water slide are hardest part of this game, not because it's good or anything, but because of the bad level design. Still a fun game and I have finished it multiple times.

@@longplayarchive Also, in demo mode, at The Oasis Level 1, there’s ants which replaced by spiders and then in Ancient City Level 3, there’s zombies with a sword replaced by turban zombies.
45:10 Leonardo: razoul, stop! You don’t know what you’re doing Ma-ti: (uses his heart ring) looks like razoul is being mind-controlled Me: sorry razoul. This is for your own good. (Uses my cross to help razoul snap out of his trance)
A B-team project from Argonaut, and it clearly shows. The polish and excellent design of their Emperor's New Groove game that released roughly the same time is nowhere to be seen.
