While I am never going to put a mud motor on any boat I will ever own, I REALLY needed this awesome review on this platform. You showed me many aspects and answered many questions I had about it. Things like draft, handling of weight, flex on the casting decks, stability when a heavy dude walks up to the edge, then even showing what the bottom of the boat looks like. As well as throwing out measurements of the inside of the storage areas, and even showing how the lids latch shut. Thank You! Now I just need to figure out what length of shaft I would need for an outboard, and what size of trailer I would need.
so just recently discovered this channel got a laugh out of haters corner dang dude 10 months no new post dude mustve fell in the toilet and got stuck ill post my impressions of the boat in another comment
Glad to see “new” videos. This was three months old when I saw it but still. It had been a while. Not sure I would own one of these but still a great review of the boat.
It kept saying my password was incorrect, but then I remember I was using my other password for www.ibangedyourmomlastnight .com LoL, glad to be back, appreciate you watching the video.
Seems like a real opportunity for tbnation to create some seating options. Some precut lid inserts would stiffen up the lids for standing and would give a good mounting option for seats. Just get some standoffs to mount to the board through the lid and the seat is rock solid and the little weight you added stiffened up the boat.
really appreciate your videos and they have helped alot with my own boat remodel and now im to the point of looking for a motor. im torn between a surface drive and a longtail. ive watched some of your past videos and i know you like longtail kits bc you can go some places that others cant. since you didnt have any videos on surface drives, i was curious as to what you thought about the cupped wing mud motor kits compared to your longtails and what type of motor i should get? i fish and hunt the tennessee river, its tributaries, and surrounding lakes; hunting shallow and deep water to timber holes, open water, and rivers. those surface drive kits run around 1100 tax included, 8-23hp. i was hoping to get some advice and/or a response video. thanks for what you do man!!
I copied your transom you did every part of it. When I installed the angle aluminum in the corners the bolts kinda I mean just a little pulled the sides in when I tightened them down. Not enough to see but I saw it when I tightened it. Is that okay to leave ?
Dude what do I have to do to to strike a deal with you. I just bought a new Jon boat but realized I don’t necessarily have the time to work on it with what we are creating my way. I am fighting for a title in MISSOURI and would love to help spread awareness on your channel and the knowledge you have acquired. If you have any interest or want to hear me out let me know!
Hey Boss, I really hope this comment rings a bell on your phone. I ordered one today, it's being processed as I type. I am searching the interweb for outboards. I traverse many different bodies of water from rivers, lakes, ponds, and creeks. I somehow can't find any info on the height from bottom of hull to top of transom. If you happened to have that measurement on a napkin or somewhere in your mind. Do you think you could share it? I'm trying to figure out what my shaft length should be for my style of fishing. Also, do you have to register it in your area? It seems I don't need to take a boater education course but I need to have it registered in North Carolina.
3500 for a plastic boat when you can get a brand new 14/32 for 900 that holds more weight and hp. Seems silly but so does these crazy kayaks. To each their own. Neat to se
that boat looks a little tippy to me not sure if i like having to sit so far forward in it rated for two people looks like two people would be mighty crowded the storage hatches are cool and all but the designers went to far with it because the storage compartments take up to much space and dang no storage in the bow thats a bummer i lll have to build custom seat mounts to attach to plastic honestly now that ive seen the video im not at all interested in that style of boat it needs to be redesigned 3500 bucks wow thats really expensive
Hey man I’m super new to the duck hunting and mud motor community I want to get a 12 font Jon boat for hunting to bring me and a friend and some gear out hunting and I was curious what size motor I should get the 212cc or the 420cc I don’t want to be underpowered and I don’t want to sink the boat with too much weight and help a vid would be great but a comment would be greatly appreciated also
