I like alot of the combinations but could you actually show us these outfits on a live model? Better yet on you Antonio!!! its just some times I like a certain piece of clothing but I don't know what would look good with it. Also could you do a video on Driver Shoes/ Loafers/Boat shoes???? I see some people wear them with shorts and even really casual shorts like sporty ones...track pants? One MORE IDEA VACATION CLOTHING TO HOT CLIMATES????? Thank you!

Well, basically the sleeves must be really short. Most of the Polos have very long sleeves, like the ones in this video. Look at Aaron Marino's polos, those are really nice.

Once again, thanks Antonio. The biggest takeaway for me, in this video, was the collar stays and the color combining. I had no idea there were classier polos and more stylish methods of matching. You have this glorious way of giving knowledge that appears to be off the beaten track. That or I'm just a dweeb. Nevertheless, thanks for taking the time to educate us, again.

Great info as usual. Before I started wearing suits I wore a lot of Ralph Lauren polo shirts of all different materials. I wore them with jeans and sneakers/boots. When I started wearing shoes and casual button up shirts I put my polos and sneakers away. Then when I got a few sports jackets I didn't have enough conservative button up shirts to match the jackets so one day I wore a polo underneath the jacket with dark blue jeans and brown shoes and I got many complements that day. After expanding my wardrobe to more plain dress shirts and slacks I learned about the cuff needing to show under the jacket so I stopped wearing polos again. But this summer I broke them out and I love them with boat shoes and khaki-type shorts. My polo shirts made of a woven type materiel look best with the cargo shorts and the polos made of a smoother material go better with other shorts and jeans and with a jacket. Only thing is I can't seem to match my slacks with my polos, I think it's the color combo

Nicely done. You mentioned a while back expanding your casual wardrobe and I like how you've done that but in your own way. I also like how you dressed up the polo and washed one you had a few times to get a better idea of how it holds up. Reaching back to your old formula while embracing a new format is awesome. I hadn't really thought about layering with a polo as I currently live in an area with pretty temperate weather (the Pacific NW). Nice tip about the contrast drawing attention to the mid-section as well in addition to advising to have some flair. (:

Could you please do a video on how to keep the collars on polo shirts crisp after washing? How to iron or starch them? Once I wash polo shirts the collars just lie flat on the shoulder and don't stand up like his in the video.

I have three nice colours, picked out by the mrs. so she can't complain on colour, with the alligator. Got them on sale at the outlet when there was a deal on multiples, and they were the brand my father wore when I was younger so there are good memories attached to that little gator. Love having them for my days off or when I have a non teaching day and I am just in doing research. They are super nice on planes as well, though I have a golf one with a good wicking fabric for the plane as I tend to sweat on long hall flights.

Antonio, you helped me change my whole life. I really appreciate your expertise and advice. I'm 51 y/o retired. When I turned 50 I realized I still dressed like I did when Nirvana were still together. lol. I live in Miami and love my Polo shirts. You are correct about Cargo shorts. Here in S Florida it's not unusual to be @ Reds Steakhouse dropping $150 for dinner w/ my wife and me. Look over and see a man my age wearing a Tee with a logo and baggy cargo's and slides. I have to really bite my lip when I see this!!! (Hmm, what would Antonio do??). Again, when I'm on the golf course or horse track I rock my Polo but I keep it there. Eh, just my 2 cents. Great video. Hy guys ! Just to let you know, in Paris the trend concerning the polo shirt : 1/ have to be 100% coton !! 2/ has to be over the trousers or bermuda always, never into ( don’t know if i am clear , you tell me) 3/ we never close the jacket with the Button when wearing polo. The most important thing when we wear a polo is for that polo to fit us. You could buy a Sunspel polo (about the best quality brand you can find) but if it is too big, we will still look bad. If you buy some basic colors (black, gray, navy, white), they can go with pretty much anything.

I don't mean to butt in but Antonio has indeed done at least 1 video on Tani underwear. I took his advice and tried a pair of SilkCut Classic Boxer Briefs. Well worth the $45 a pair price tag!! couldnt have discovered it in a better moment! I like wearing jackets to church, (tomorrow i got church) but right now it's summer where i live and pants, plus tucked in long sleeve jacket + jacket and helf of the time i like wearing a tie with a fancy knot, it simply makes me wanna die... but i look sharp as heck. tomorrow i'm definetly rocking the polo with jacket and suede leather loafers. polo shirt is very popular. may the Singapore armed forces should consider using polo shirts as their uniform. olive green for army, grey for navy and blue for air force.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with cargo shorts if they achieve the look you are going for. The "grand problem" arose when men mistakenly began wearing them in place of dress shorts because they were "in style" at the time with younger men's fashion. They are by no means "out of style". Rock those babies at a back yard bar-b-cue, frat party, outdoor festival, day at the park, ...etc.

I quite like Ralph Lauren Polo polo shirts in that they are above average quality and durability and the patterned ones have some original and attractive colour combinations. What annoys me though is that their back is longer than their front (they have a tail) which pretty much ruins things if you want to wear it untucked (as I often do, with shorts). Sort this out RL....
