Prices start at $29 for wireless cameras, $179 for an advanced doorbell or floodlight camera and systems start around $229 on up depending on number of cameras, capability and hard drive size.
Your video was very helpful in helping to decide on the Lorex Fusion 4k system for our brand new pre-wired home. The home builder's security options were way too expensive and we were unsure about the self install systems. The info you provided was more than the website such as the zoom in/out, the flood light option, the ability to record our own voice responses, the memory card/mouse, and being able to connect the unit to the TV especially during the initial setup.
What model NVR you have ?the n841a82? also did you mount that light in the soffit .no where on directions does it say you can ?i was hoping it would mount horizontally thanks for the video
As it looks like you have the same fusion NVR as I do, and it looks like you have the same Doorbell. I was wondering if you could test something? I have had nothing but issues witht he doorbell and NVR combination. In short, Fire up the NVR, and change the resolution of the doorbell camera, (between 480, and 2k, and back and forth a few times. See if it actually changes the resolution of the video footage. and then, load up the app, and do the same thing, see if it makes changes. Lastly. make sure the resolution is 2k, and then load up the NVR, change it to 480, apply and close. then open the app. The setting will still say 2k, and the resolution will not have changed. It looks to me like non of the changes make on the NVR, do anything at all to the doorbell.
The camera look just like my “no fees/subscriptions” system made by ALC. I wonder if it’s licensed hardware and app one way or other? Either way this is the best choice, no one wants ANOTHER monthly charge.
I haven’t installed the doorbell yet because I haven’t run a doorbell wire yet. The wireless flood light works great. No issues and the nice thing is you can run it solo on the app (doorbell too) or add it to your existing system in the app so you can do like 4 cameras on your monitor etc
@@livingsurvival that sound good, I’m still having a hard time deciding between this Fusion series or the Reolink. The good think about the Reolink you can add as many WiFi cameras as you can, the Fusion only allows 2. That what slowing me down.
@@livingsurvival have you installed the doorbell yet? How has it worked, I have the doorbell, it worked great, but was a disaster once paired with the NVR
You can set a schedule for notifications. So for example a business that has customers coming and going all day you could schedule to turn off notifications during that time and have them turn back on after hours. You can also setup home and away notifications that will automatically enable based on your location.
The previous system worked well even though it was more of a commercial system. The new Fusion systems are great as you can mix and match cameras. The new Home app works awesome as well with many capabilities. No monthly fees and no batteries to change.
Right, I like the wired cameras as there are no batteries to change. But the capability to add wireless and connect to Alexa and Google are great additional options.
As long as there is power the system will continue to record to the hdd. But if your wifi is down you won’t be able to view via the app outside of your network.
