I was never a fan of the stand up bits because of how forced they feel but Louis does it so naturally he is perfectly suited to being a character in this universe.
This is the audio and visual accompaniment by Dr Katz, a 90s adult cartoon. The patients came in and talked about their issues, which in reality were stand up material from the comedians featured. Louis CK has been featured in a few episodes.
Holy mother fucker of baby jesus!!! I loved Dr Katz and I remember this episode and thought this red hair guy was hilarious, my favorite Dr. Katz episode....Then MANY years later a became a huge Louis CK fan and a couple years later here I am finding out they are the same guy. Thanks for the post!
Extra jail means that the cops do every humiliating thing they can legally and borderline illegally do to you while you're in custody. Be courteous to cops because they have a whole bag of tricks they can use to jack you up.
It's called "print through" where you will get a pre-echo because when the tape is wound on a reel, the magnetic charges on one layer of tape will "print through" on another. You don't hear it in taped music much because the music is usually louder and the print through blends in. I still use tape to record, sounds way better than digital.
@@smokejensen_ ... Wait, which skit came first Regan's, right? I understand that parallel thinking is a thing but WOW this is similar, isn't it? Can a nigga get a side-by-side?
@@VasilyMusic they must have been using analog tape for the recordings - it's a phenomenon called "print through" - usually due to storing the tape incorrectly
I had a cop tell me once that he, "couldn't arrest me for speeding. It was the only thing he couldn't arrest me for"..."technically". I am sure that in real-life he would get me for exhibition of acceleration or some other b.s. technicality. But at the time I was all of ... 18. And, I thought that was just the shit. "He also told me don;t sweat the petty things, just pet the sweaty things", as he locked me and my friends in the drunk tank...That was a,..kind of a weird thing to say, now that I reflect on it.
Flipping hilarious because this happened to me when I was suspended for not paying child support that I dont even owe... (yah right...I know what ya all are thinking! I swear its true though!) Anyhow...the horn would just randomly honk whenever it felt like it and I was like trying to crawl under the steering wheel and hide coz I couldn't make it shut up and people were flipping me off and I was like "I'm sorry...I'm sorry....I'm not doing it" and holding my hands up in the air like I was under arrest which is a ticket in itself! It finally got stuck on in the middle of the night and woke up all the neighbors which is when my husband ripped out the wires to the stupid horn! Lol Anyhow....too funny to find this on here!
Oh my gosh I remember this episode! Who could forget the part about extra jail. "Hey, fat pig." I didn't know Louis had been famous this long. I thought he only recently got famous on the Internet.
I used to skate a parking garage in my town all the time and visited it a few years later driving through at like 12am and was going to skate for a few mins like old time but a cop was in there standing by himself like a weirdo and I kinda hassled him the way the cops used to me when I was down there. He was so confused but not mad. "Dont you have some place you should be, Sir?" "The garage is closed for pedestrians after 10pm" and then I left before I got billyclubbed
..It's based off the film of the same name, but thanks for the information...Scary that prison itself strips you of any civil rights...then maximum security re-strips and "extra dehumanizes" you...It's enough to scare you from jaywalking. :)
...This question was answered in "Let's Go To Prison"...It's called solitary confinement :) (though that would only be the case in federal max security prison)
Hmm seems we have a mystery here. Did Brian Regan write Louis' part in this episode? Did Louis rip it off from him? Or did Brian rip Louis off? I guess we'll never know o_o
Either he took the car horn joke from Brian Regan or Brian Regan took it from him. Not sure who did it first but they definitely both did it and very similarly.
I had no idea Louis C.K. had hair on top of his head, or was he bald at the time he did Dr. Katz and convinced the animators to draw him with a full head of hair?
