I have this same exact backpack in this same exact color way! It’s my absolute FAV!! I’ve been using it as my work/commuter bag since I live in NYC and ride the metro north, & subway in. I just LOVE how understated it is. Enjoy her 🖤. I too sold the Old model Montsouris pm, and I couldn’t be any happier with this purchase!

This version is very pretty ! I have been so into backpacks this past year that I added another one , a vintage Montsouris GM , I got it for a steal at $440 on an eBay bid and it’s in beautiful condition ! I missed going on eBay and entering bids and getting a deal ! I haven’t been very fond of a lot of the newer releases from LV but this looks nice in empriente ! Enjoy it girl !

I purchased this bag, but unfortunately decided to return it. The big con for me was the wonkyness of the cinching when I would try to close it. Every time half of the bag would be hanging out of one side. Just something that would have bothered me.

I LOVE my vintage montsouris and didn’t care for the newer version at first. However the look is starting to grow on me just a little!😍 Personally, I don’t mind the real belt buckle on the backpacks. It gives more security + I use it strictly as a backpack/not a purse

The charm could be in gold metal instead of plastic. I have similar thing on my epi on the go. Same feeling. Yes or no, I don't know. But you can hang hand sanitizer on the hoop. Practical added functionality in these days. 😉

I got the turtledove color initially and it's GORGEOUS...but I have a six month old baby and my Pochette Métis in noir empreinte has held up so well to the abuse that I switched the Montsouris turtledove out for the noir. I was also really worried about color transfer issues since I wear a lot of dark clothing and my hair is always a crazy color.

Love this bag but went with the PM mono/black only because I didn't like the black inside. I do have the Artsy in empreinte taupe leather and I love it!

The only empreinte leather I have is the multiple card wallet. Saving up right now for this bag.

That backpack is sweeeet! How sturdy is the bottom? When placing it on any surface, I wonder how durable the bottom is. I would be concerned it can get dirty or scuffed.

How do you think the pointed corners will wear over time? That is the main reason I didn’t purchase the canvas version.

Well, you could take the charm off, but attach the strap of a coin purse to the D-ring, so the attached coin purse would be easy to pull from of the main section.

How are the corners wearing? That’s my big concern and so I’m debating between this over the Chanel business affinity backpack - if I can get my hands on it in store. I love the size bc it would fit an iPad perfectly and with bag org can help find items easier with the big capacity.

very dark bordeux color would match inside, nice to know abt. the faux belt buckle, real belt buckle is always my issue on the daily use backpack, the reason I dont like the chanel duma backpack is the buckle, same with bamboo gucci backpack, the only reason i bought it coz of the bamboo design which I love. Love it! But not practical styled with the drawstring. Pickpocket can still access as well as front pocket. Much prefer this all black instead of the original mono with vachetta. Any news on when you'll be back flying? Happy & safe holidays to you, Bart & Sir Francis! 💖🙏💙

Stunning bag I have the original in both mm and gm ... the gm front pocket is pretty large however opening and closing the bag is a real pain in the a$$ Still it’s pretty adorable looking But after looking at this new version I’m in love again 👍 Yep the original version is cool but not that practical

I’m in between this one and the cream one. The cream leather worries me if it would have color transfer, and what holds me back from black if it would wear well during the summer months.

Absolutely love this video. I walked into LV one day, actually a boutique one at Saks. I wanted something completely different, and there it was sitting on the shelf in turtle dove. I immediately purchased it, then had buyers remorse. I had even ordered an organizer for it as it’s that ballerina pink. I agree the front pocket is one of the best features of this bag. I’ve never owned any other LV backpack. I wound up returning it, found your video about two weeks ago and wanted the backpack back in the worst way. I almost paid more on FASHIONPHILE because I was trying to get a hold of the SA and had the wrong number. So I ran over to LV and there it was sitting on the shelf still. That was the first time I ever purchased a bag and returned it, and then wanted it back so badly after watching your video. Agreed I’m not too happy with the charm I do think it looks cheap but its not the worse it’s nice LV added something. I’m thinking of buying something simple or I do you have a little charm with my initial that I got from Amazon that would actually look cute to attach. Thank you for posting this video, I probably would not have wanted it so badly after seeing all the pros and the cons 😚🥰💜

I don’t even bother zipping the pocket up especially if my phone is in there. The way I see it, the flap is blocking your items from falling out or pickpocketers from sticking there hands in.

They could have done like a deep red velvet?

The bag is gorgeous. Love. I would love to have it but I too see some cons. I like my bags to have feet. I struggle with backpacks because everything gets lost. I see with the flap you had to struggle just a bit. That would drive me nuts. I’m not a big charm person so I just put them in a draw.
