I consider myself fortunate to have the opportunity to watch this game and their next match in Dallas. I was there when the shot happened, and I was standing on the Loyola side of the field when it happened. Loyola has always maintained a pleasant school, which, regarding games, welcomes strangers as if they belong to the family. This moment feels like home, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to take part in this effort to contribute to the environment by cheering in the bleachers.

Anyone else notice the Loyola cheerleaders were barefoot, and Miami's were wearing shoes? I'm gonna have to go through all the highlights and see if any of the other winning teams cheerleaders were wearing shoes or not. As supertstitious as some fans are this could make someones bracket. After watching the rest of the day one games, I only found three games where the cheerleaders didn't wear shoes: Arizona State vs. Buffalo. In the first half Arizona had no shoes, in the second half they put them back on, and lost the game. Alabama vs. V. Tech. In the first half Alabama had shoes on, in the sexond half they took them off, and won the game. Michigan vs. Montana. In the first half Michigan had shoes on, in the second they took them off, and won the game.
