He is the best of the best tenors ever!

I have not heard Pavarotti sing this before . This sounds like the young Pavarotti . Most Beautiful Singing , at his best !!!

Incomparable. There is only one Pav; and, for me, he remains peerless across the entire repertoire.

I have a version of Pav singing 'La Fleur' on a playlist in my car at the minute that is so fantastic I keep it on 'repeat' when no one else is around. Of all th e versions available- and I think every tenor has tackled it- his is, for me, the brightest and truest.

I was quite surprised when I heard this. I was expecting the ultra bright, really bitey quality I am used to from Pavarotti. He sang this with a warm color that is just perfect for french Singing. Bravo Pav!

With every other tenor you hold your breath hoping he can hit the high note. With Luciano you never have to worry: his high notes are spot on.
