What I hate most in when someone likes one character and tries to bring down another, it makes everyone that likes that character hate the one that they love

Everyone in the crew is clutch, that's why Luffy picked them to join. He's not getting any scrubs

I love how they keep talking about willpower without realizing that's actually a real mechanic in this show that was used by Luffy and Zoro in their fights but they just don't know yet

Bruh the moment Vivi is yelling for them to stop fighting is to this day the most emotional scene Oda has drawn. He drew that scene over and over and over again until it made HIM cry.

This is the first time in the series Luffy actually tries and goes all out. He’s still a total rookie at this point, but this is a good showing of how strong he is when he’s serious.

The reason Crocodile lost is because he was overconfident and full of himself. He relied on his DF power to not be hit for some time, that he hasn't had to really fight for awhile. Crocodile stated in the first fight that he has defeated countless rookies like Luffy, meaning in the same way with a hook threw the chest. They probably never got a secound chance, and that's because this time Nico Robin saved Luffy. In the secound fight, every time he got hit with Luffy using water, he was shocked and was down for awhile. He hasn't had to deal with his weakness for a while. Then in the third fight Crocodile started to go serious, but he was overconfident that the poison would be more effective then it was. Rob is right that if your organs are made of Rubber, we don't know how effective poison would be on them. Rob said it in a way that it didn't make sense.

When you get caught up this anime you will know that Luffy is WILLPOWER

It's the climax that 60+ episodes have been directly leading up to -- one of the biggest moments in manga/anime history. ...and we're changing the topic in the middle of Luffy's iconic Croc-Gattling to pour negativity on characters who aren't even there... some of whom aren't even in this show. We're complaining for Vivi to 'do something' from the top of a belltower with bare, bloody feet, after she's already sacrificed her entire childhood trying to prevent this war, and right after she lost one of her closest father-figures... because we didn't like her 'I forgot to tell you' gag. At this point I'm watching this in the same way I would watch Jersey Shore. Everyone supports a single Strawhat, and they all hate one another. I guess it is what it is.

Luffy is 17 and his fruit is symbolic of his personality, he will always bounce back, just like rubber. Crocodile's biggest advantage over Luffy was the fact that his devil fruit made him impossible for luffy to hit. But the first two losses address how Luffy would come to figure out how to fight him. Throughout the fight we get the different perspectives of the two, Crocodile is a seasoned veterans who has himself faced people far stronger than Luffy and lost so in his mind a rookie like Luffy who can't even touch him can't possibly beat him. Crocodile understands his place in the grand line which limits his potential, but Luffy has no understanding of hierarchy nor does he care, he just wants to help the people he cares about which makes his potential limited only by his willpower and Luffy is the king of willpower.

Something I think they'll really hate is characters we thought were dead coming back which is gonna make a certain event really juicy once it happens.

To Wellz and anyone else that thinks Luffy's win over Crocodile is BS: It makes perfect sense that Luffy won. He could've even won the fight in their first encounter if he had the knowledge that he had by the third encounter. Luffy won because he learned. Crocodile, fur coat, lays back and let's his underlings do all the fighting. Crocodile isn't a physical fighter, he's just a schemer. The reason people fear Crocodile (and lose against him) is solely because of the invincibility given by the sand-sand fruit. Crocodile could hop onto an enemy ship and, as long as they don't know about his weakness to water, could kill every one of them on his own, because swords/fists/guns don't work on him. Luffy didn't know any of this in the first fight, so of course he got stomped. The second fight, Luffy learned and brought water with him, but lost again due to having to carry the gallons of water around with him in his fat, slow, "water luffy" form. Now in the third fight, Luffy has learned again, and realized that the blood covering his body can disable Crocodile's invincibility. With this new discovery, he can fight just like normal yet still not have to worry about the sand-sand invincibility. Without the sand-sand fruit, do you think Crocodile can beat Usopp? Debatable. Can he beat Sanji? Zoro? Definitely not. So you have Crocodile and Luffy, trapped in a small underground room, Crocodile's devil fruit basically doesn't exist (besides a couple offensive attacks it has) and Luffy is an exceptional physical fighter, who also has a devil fruit that solely boosts his own physical abilities. Crocodile even confirms this when he's cornered. Does he charge Luffy with the hook-sword? No, he whips out the POISONED hook because he knows that he's outmatched physically. If Luffy had known about the water/blood weakness in the very first encounter, he could've won, but he didn't. Luffy learned and adapted over the 3 fights, and that's why Luffy won.

*A dry rubber band when wet will become stretchy again! Luffy was able to heal because he's made of rubber and flesh! In order to heal/restore rubber you need to reintroduce other rubber to the damage or in Luffys case meat to his fleshy rubbery body. So if he eats meat then he will regenerate/heal! Kind of like Majin Buu*
