Same with Kareem, Bill Russell that won 11 is not top 5 for many people, and as good as Lebron is, people is rating him second to Jordan .... When he has lost almost double the number of finals he won.What I mean is if Luka wins at least 4, and has a good finals record, he might totally end up top 5 all time, and for that he needs Dallas to actually manage to get him a good co star that is healthy and stays a minimum of 5 6 years with him. If he wins 2 or 3 he will be best euro ever, but probably not top 10, or just barely like Larry Bird, that by talent should be top 5 but usually is top 10 sometimes not even. If he does win 1 he will be top 20/30 like a Dirk with better stats. If he doesn't win a title as good as he is he won't be remembered the same way.

@@moymay18 Honestly they have a very different vibe- The 2011 team was REALLY well-balanced, they had Kidd, Tyson Chandler, Jason Terry etc all playing great complementary roles to Dirk Whereas this Mavs roster (other than Luka) is really bad………. Jalen Brunson is respectable for sure, but Kleber is NOT very good and Dwight Powell is so bad he shouldn’t even be playing in the NBA at all, they’re not a well-balanced roster at all they’re giving too many minutes to some seriously inferior players

But he's won none. This game is not on Luka. It's on the role players. The sun's are gonna play alot better at home. What they need is the same production they get in Dallas from the roleplayers. If Luka drops 40 and no one else shows up then it doesn't matter.

I’m a big Luka fan but I think it’s a stretch when people say he’ll be top 5. Given how well he’s played since being drafted, he’ll be somewhere between the top 20-10 at least. Hope I’m wrong though and he exceeds my top 10 list, it’s more exciting that way

When it comes to question how we will rank him when he finishes his career it's hard to say. When it comes to skill, mental toughness and basketball IQ he has top 10 or top 5 potential, he just needs championships, 3 at least to get into that narrow group. But he will be very high even if he never wins NBA chip, but that scenario is hard to imagine. He is a monster even now, can you imagine in shape and prime Luka 🙆‍♂

Ayton has dropped over 20 points 3 times in this series. He still has the potential to be the best center in the league..the problem is he’s lacking some aggression. It’s all mental with him.

But all they did was screens and go to their mid range game all the time and forgot about Ayton. If Luka had a talent and size of Ayton on his side who got a post and mid range game? @@moymay18 Luka's talent, post, and mid range game are far superior to Ayton's. The only thing Ayton has on him is size, but Doncic manages to use his size more effectively in the post anyway. Luka is literally out-rebounding Ayton all while scoring 33pts and dishing out 8 assists. Yes he makes Powell look good, but a #1 overall pick center (Ayton) is backing down 6'7 Maxi Kleiber and resorts to a turnaround fade?? He should be backing Kleiber down and dunking on his head. Luka has a better post game than Ayton and thats just a fact.
