Feel free to ask any questions about this soundset, or my opinion on the Prophet 6, or anything else you might want to chat about be it synths, music, life...
@@cs7160 For my first synth i'd probably go with the Prophet 6 or the OB6. The Summit is amazing but also a deeper and more complex than the P6 and OB6 which for a first synth might not be as immediate. If i was forced to choose one i'd go P6, but all three would actually be just fine to be honest. They really are 3 of the best synths out there at the min imo.
Such an amazing synth. I didn’t know they were out when I walked into guitar center to buy a Moog. I walked out with the prophet 6 instead. Glad I did.
@@Labelwhore6040 I love the new wave of analog. So many great sounding synths today, analog and digital/hybrid. The Gramma is a great little Moog, ugly, but one of their best of all time (particularly for the price).
James Meeker same here, when I first got into synths, it looked like this kind of stuff would remain vintage, and I’d mostly only get to read about it. The new analog gear is pretty amazing though.
Ended up getting these. Excellent sound design, all very usable. I think the Prophet 6 would have had much more commercial success if the stock presets sounded this good.
Amazing work, my friend! I love it. I'm probably gonna grab it. Please let me ask you, what did you use for those 80s drums? What device? Or are they samples? Thanks. And well done!
oooooh man. Im on the fence about getting a P6. I just dont find many videos online of people making sounds im into with the thing. Until this! This is the stuff im after and I was really beginning to think I needed a Juno or Korg.
Prophet 6 module should arrive in the morning. I was going to buy a p5, but really no room for another keyboard with the polybrute coming and can’t justify the price for my needs. Your sound sets played no small part in selling me!
Hey Luke, would you ever consider making a psych themed soundset for the Prophet 6? With the popularity of acts such as Tame Impala and MGMT at the moment, I think quite a lot of people would be into it! Tame use 3x prophet synths for their live shows and have also utilised a Pro One since 2012. I would definitely pay for a soundset (even if it was shorter than other ones you've done) and I'm gonna make a bet that a lot of other people would too :)
Hi Luke! Any advice on how can i load this one in bank 1 or 3? Already have my own patches on bank 2 and i don't know how to move them except rewriting them from scratch. Any librarian software for mac that can do this? Thank you!
a/b the p6 and the ob6 synthwave soundsets playing the same music demoed here on this channel and it gives you an idea of how different the two synths are. i think i like the prophet 6 better it sounds tighter and more focused. i mean ob6 is really special too dont get me wrong but for the price tag most people are only going to be able to get one.
hello I bought this, good job, but sounds I can't replicate this demo. Is it possible to get the original midi file to get some pattern that I need !!???? thx
You've got a synth there can cover so many classic analog sounds so i'd maybe look at something digital like a Yamaha Montage/Modx, Nord Stage 3, Hydrasynth etc etc
