Luto is a first person psychological horror narrative experience where you will embody a person unable to exit his own house. Finding the way to leave it will lead you through a series of paths that will challenge your senses.
Explore the pain caused by the loss of a loved one, the horror of the insecurity to the deepest darkness hidden behind anxiety and depression...

We mock the idea of the sheet-ghosts, but that was one of the scariest enemies I've seen in a while. The animations really helped, of course. It looked human, and the walking animation was so menacing and realistic. I'm impressed!

What really sold me on this was the animation quality. When that sheet ghost started to walk toward you I was completely on board. So sinister and realistic, and such a cool concept for a demonic presence

Yeah, the games are fun to watch, but it's his calm and affable demeanor that makes me a fan of the channel. Some LPers are constantly screaming, and it's just too much.

Absolutely love this game! Bravo to the devs 👏 That ghost though, bloody hell it's creepy how it moves, almost like you can see where its knees would be, incredible. I can't wait until the full game is released and you play it on your channel Chris. The graphics, the atmospheric tension, just wow!

Luto means Grief, it's an allegory. 'be careful with this place it's easy to get into' maybe bc some people grief forever instead of moving on? Idk... some elements are way too encrypted indeed. But I love the realism, graphics and animations are so carefully done...

Towards the end, you looked at notes and it said I am lost, help. Maybe that was a prompt to press help from the menu - it wouldnt let you at the beginning because you werent lost. Curious as to what would have happened if you had. Keep up the good work!

Just replayed the game and yes! If you push help after getting the note, you receive a script describing what you did just moments before enter the room and what will happen after!

Random trivia: "Luto" in Filipino means "cook", "cooked", or "to cook". So when I saw the title, I thought it will be a Filipino cooking horror game. Hahaha!

Great demo! I don't see this as another PT. The loop was so large and extensive with different ways to go it could hardly be onsidered a loop. It's kind of like going to my car every morning to go to work. Despite doing numerous different things during the day I end up in my driveway getting in my car. Is that a loop? Only in the loosest sense. I'm looking forward to the full game!

Luto means grief, or mourning, but it is very specific to a person dying. Luto, is also the period after their death in which you wear black clothes.

Looks like a great title. You have a marvelous style of gameplay, where your commentary as a normal, regular sort of fellow thrust into the bizarre convoluted worlds of these various games, often echoes my own thoughts. Little details like seeing if you can leave at the beginning of games, rightfully berating the protagonist for doing nonsense things, setting up internal goals (10-battery man!) make these a joy to watch, thanks for that. Also - thanks for making me realize I'm not the only weirdo who checks the contents & functionality of every in-game toilet, in hopes of secret keys or other loot!

This is PRECISELY my fucking jam. I am so here for it, and cannot wait for the full game! I hope that the dev puts a lot of effort into quality translation work. I could see how the game's effect could be undermined by a few confusing or silly bits that were just missed in the translation from Spanish.

This game looks amazing! I cannot wait for the full game; it is creepy but really well made! I want to see more, and the ghost looks really spooky, the way it moves and the way it follows.

PT clones are mostly boring, but this one is actually good. It looks beautiful, and I'm really intrigued about the story. If this is only the demo, the full game is probably going great. Spanish games are always super intriguing and well made.

me before this vid: "omg sheet ghosts, haha that's so hokey, what in the scooby doo is this" me after this vid: "sheet ghost..? ok nope nope, don't like that, don't like that one bit, no sir, someone call a priest, nope nope..." also kudos to the people in charge of the music and ambient sounds. that part in the basement/sub-basement, the sound and music in there really added so much

Very ambitious demo! Paid off incredibly. At first i was in disdain expecting a pt copycat. This, instead pulled a lot of new ideas. Great job for a small team. However, the story and dynamics were very hush hush. I hope it is fully fleshed out, well written, and makes sense with the game dynamics; otherwise, itll be another barrel of ideas with no rhyme, reason, or payoff.

I really enjoy watching your video's. I love how you know when to talk and when not to. I love how you thoroughly examine areas. Your voice has the same effect on me as Bob Ross 🤣 soothing and even when you swear it's calming. I love your end clips to show your reactions to certain bits in games. You're the only gaming streamer I can sit and watch for hours. Been watching your videos for years. You know how to captivate your audience, even in games that aren't very good.

I jumped. When the ghost came tumbling out of the door in the corridor, I actually jumped. That hardly ever happens. And I cringed when one of the dang things ran up the wall. Will I be able to survive until the main game is released (good word for this one)? If by some quirk of fate I don't, I'll be dragging St. Pete back to watch it!

I'd say this is more of a Visage imitator than a PT imitator. Visage took heavy inspiration from PT, but put their own spin on it which is a clear influence in this game. I'm not familiar with your channel, but if you haven't played Visage, I think you'd enjoy it. So far I'm really liking your commentary style! I'm so used to watching John Wolfe that it's almost refreshing to watch someone who actually gets a little nervous playing a horror game. Every time you let out a laugh at the scares it feels like you're delighted and impressed that the game was good enough to scare you lmao. It's infectious too!

I dont understand why people dont like this. A horror game is Not one jumpscare after another. To create pure tension with little Things is the key for a good horror game in my opinion. IT looked really good! Love the Animation from the ghost. Game reminds me in some weird way of layers of fear, so you have to go through several layers of grief. Please keep IT up, really enjoyed your play through and narration!

The ghost with the sheet, more classic than this one dies (of fear). I love it already. Excellent photorealistic quality. The changing environments, the elements to be recomposed, the objects, the light and the colors create the right atmosphere. I look forward to the full game 👍 P.S. The graphics are better than my eyesight. This is too scary I'm hiding in the comments lol. That ghost was absolutely terrifying. The way it crashed through the door... Bizarre and scary. Can't wait for this!!! It got what was actually scary about PT as an experience and didn't just copy the easy parts like looping hallway, they made it completely their own and I don't even mean to act like it's trying to be PT because it's very much its own thing. Gorgeous game can't wait for the full game omg.

Yes Chris Luto means Mourning in spanish and portuguese. The corridor with the bars in the middle of it gave me huge vibes of Silent Hill 2 which by the way they announced a remake, I am really excited into it.

They should include an option to not have the Black bars , I am not sure I love them either... 😉🤣 Hmm. Seems interesting on some level and yet not interesting on some level at the same time. ( sorry devs ) Some nice graphics / a r t. I hope the full game keeps up with nice visuals , still interested in watching the full game.... I wish you would've lingered a bit more at the start and soaked in the rugs and things in the surroundings a bit more.... nice gesture for us watching. Apologies for any repeats of things I already stated and I don't intend to offend.... I do get just wanting to get on with it and to move on quickly as possible though , especially in horror games. It's just nice for those of us watching and don't have a laptop or what ever set up yet and things... ( to be able to enjoy the video giving more focus on various items and soaking in the ambiance , etc. ) A lot of LP'ers have this same issue , if I ever get around / into to it , I am going to linger on things and have some diff pov videos and clips for the viewers. Just need a set up again 1st though.

Nice looking game, the pt is a bit tedious but I was curious about who is being observed and studied. The scratched out drawing of the present next to the phone must have been foreshadowing that it wouldn't work. Great looking crawl effect with the sheet. The old woman crawling up a wall and on the cieling trope needed switching up. 👻

The concept is a very common horror concept found in books, tv and movies LONG before PT lol I feel like this game had much more to it and in a different format than PT. Would be a shame to classify it as such when even pt wasn’t really an original concept…. Pt did it beautifully and horrifically…. And although it’s got some similarities… it’s got its own storytelling and style! 😊
