Oh Nick! This has stolen my heart. Who knew Swiss chalet, Colorado mountain cabin, Italian villa, Beverly Hills grounds, and medieval castle could combine in to one adorable home? That kitchen with the green fireplace and copper pots made me swoon. So many other details I could write a thesis. Oh to have disposable income enough to afford this.
Well Nick, you’ve managed to do it again, surpassing all expectations, this house is just too gorgeous, that entry way is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen….I’m wishing upon a star, perhaps, maybe, who knows?? I currently live near a lake, but to live in Lake Como!! You spoke it in the opening, pure paradise. Can One live in paradise without having to die? Of course…Yes….some of us do. Thanks Nick, you make me smile.😊
When I saw Luxury in the title, I instantly thought..nope, not for me because it often means everything is painted a stark, cold white and anything about it's past erased by all the mod cons. I am happy to say I was very, very wrong. What an absolutely sumptuous, warm, and rich home. I typically don't like stripes but they work here in an amazing way. You have a real talent for finding these gems, I mean WOW what a stunner!! And worth every penny! Thanks Nick, your rummages make my day :)
Nick, this us absolutely stunning! I don't know where to begin to express how I feel about this amazing property. The choice of colors, the furniture, the landscaping, I could go on and on. The owners have exquisite taste, everything just flows and is so welcoming. How excited and privileged you must feel to be showing this dream property. I must say that they chose very well in having you do this tour, your enthusiasm, great eye for detail and personality have added so much to this viewing. Once again you have done a spectacular job!!! Kudos and always stay safe!!!!
That's one of thr most exclusive properties thats also decorated by someone with a style I love that I've seen! The art, the Manuel Canovas prints, and Fornasetti, the bold but somehow whimsical stripes, the chromatics of every room separately, carried on with such attenion to detail and love throughout every space is totally unique, the flow if the rooms in the private residential home, the incredible views and brightness flooding them (even though 2/3s of the windows are covered with awning!?), the two kitchens, the ensuites, the grounds and that tremendous green room for guests, its just WILD! Parking, cantinas AND a caretaker's house is there anything NOT extraordinary about this property? Imagine stepping out on your little balcony from the bedroom each morning only to find yourself standing like "The Wanderer" gazing at a CD Friedrich view only in your dressing gown and way over there is Milan in the sunshine? 😂 It's almost rediculous. This was certainly a peek that made me think "oh this is an everyday lifestyle too".... 😅 For a price naturally. But gosh! And it seems to be their second home lol. It's interesting however, that the income from the 5 guestrooms with the communally shared, top tier spaces pays for the whole staff and maintenance of the B&B, grounds and house! That's the type of information that's really veryinformative looking at such tremendous estates. There are very well thought out economics behind the planning here. So the owners holiday home is a secure investment which meanwhile pays for itself (and their own household costs), whilst over time, being so well looked after, simply increases in value. You know, here's the bitcoin folks, and then this type of person. Very intelligent if, unlike us, you happen to have 4M € you'd like to tuck away safely and still thoroughly enjoy. I presume they payed alot less once upon a time, and spent alot of money, ans effort into transforming it into what it is today. People with a true creative side and a jouy de vivre! Thankyou Nick, this was indeed SPLENDID. ❤❤❤
Wow! Wow!! Wow!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! This is what I kept saying for the 41 minutes of this video. Then I lost it when you mentioned 4 mil. that I'm guessing is the starting price. I thought it would be at least double that. I think this property just beat out my favorite one in Cetona. Nick you are 100 percent correct when you called this place a "Fairy Tale" property. Absolutely heaven on earth. It is cloudy here where I live in the States but watching this video just brightened my day incredibly. Thanks Nick!!!! You did it AGAIN finding homes that are way beyond my or anyone else's imagination. I have to watch this over and over again just to wrap my head around what you just showed me. Watch out for another comment from me in a day or two after my mind processes this video. My only complaint is Ha Ha Ha I wish you would have spent a bit more time in the kitchens. I love to cook and of course EAT TOO Ha Ha Ha. Loved the video and love how you bring them to us. Massive Massive Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy your time in Lake Como and take care of yourself. Your big fan from across the pond, Jersey Lou P.S. Absolute Stunner of a video (Abode if you are watching I nominate Nick for ANOTHER AWARD for this video)
What did I just witness?!! Goodness me! I swallowed every sigh and my breath because of the beauty of this master piece! What a stunning vision to have as a home! Wow! I can’t find a word that would fit it justly. It made my day as it made me realize that, in my lifetime I will never ever have something like this. But to whoever ends with this stunning house, Congratulations!! I just want to cry! So beautiful ❤
Totally unbelievable property! The architecture and attention to detail have me gobsmacked. My favorite space, and it's difficult to choose, would have to be the kitchen in the main house. That terracotta, arched ceiling had me speechless. As for the rental portions, the other house would be an enjoyable place to spend with family. Once again the video is top-notch. The best line is "even the greenhouse is chic". Nick, thank you for letting us tag along on this tour!
BRAVO, Nick! This was my favorite tour. It would take three lifetimes to explore and experience with delight all the facets of this property. Every angle is another view of truly unique craftsmanship of creativity. And although the price exceeds common budgets, it is well worth every euro! Thanks again for taking us on another AMAZING property tour!
Just when I thought you could not outdo yourself, this property is spectacular. The location, the views, the Art Deco design and interior embellishments, the built-in closets, the reclaimed wood floors..... Even though you could not show every nook and cranny, your tour was fabulously well done! And with this post, I suspect that the bidding will be active!
At the risk of being pedantic Stile Liberty is the Italian term for Art Nouveau, named after the stikl existing Liberty's in London which sold wonderful art nouveau furniture and decorative arts
I believe that you spent so much time and energy for recording this video, and i just wanted to say that we see that and that's just adorable, thank you so much ❤
Beautiful, wonderful , flooding the senses with beauty at every turn. I think “Rococo” is how I’d describe it’s style. Absolute overload of influences coming together in one place. Gorgeous tour, thank you, Nick!
To copy your word, gorgeous! Living here would be like having that cozy home and the perfect vacation spot all in one with so many spaces to get lost in. I really enjoyed this more extended tour, but admittedly, I could have lingered there much longer 🙂A beautiful corner of the Italian world too! Best wishes to those who will bid, and may its new owner tend to it as lovingly as the current owner. And as ever, fantastic tour, Nick! Your respect for the beauty around you is wonderful (as are the art lessons) 😊
I fell off my chair in a total SWOOOOON several times during this video. 4 mil?? That is a absolute steal for this property. What a treat to see it - thanks Nick!
I wonder the result of the auction. That a very special property. North Italy, near Milan, Como and Swiztrland. Can´t beat all tha with a pictoresque Borgo particolare. Great Video, Nick.
Nick we have watch just about every video you have made over the time we have been following you. Hand on heart this has to be one of most stunning homes I’ve seen. As you said the attention to detail, decor and furnishing 100% on the money. This is possibly one of the nicest houses I’ve very had the fortune to view. You have shown us some stunning property’s but this one is up there. We are truly stunned by this one. Would love to know how much it finally goes for. All the best Carl & Erminia
This is absolutely Gorgeous & boy talk about Beautiful Attention to Detail! I’m putting this on my Vision Board! It delights all the senses even across technology! Thank You Nick! You always bring us to the most incredibly Special Spaces! ❤
Nick, it’s too perfect. A real gem to say the least. Something I would love to build from a less expensive property. Whomever ends up with this place will wake up every morning to say, wow!
Hello Nick my Friend, hope you are well, I have been watching your show for about 2 years now and I must say I saw this today and it is an amazing property!!!! Thank you for showing this place and keeping it on You Tube!🎉🎉😊
Una casa esternamente tipo teutonica-Svizzera,gli interni ricordano uno stile britannico aristocratico, forse solo il paesaggio e panorama ricorda il contesto geografico del nord Italia ❤❤
Absolutely Stunning, Nick! This one is one of the best properties you have shown us! Although I do love all the charming homes in the Medieval Towns. Keep them coming! Lake Como is one of my favorite places on Earth! The lake poses a different picture every day, depending on the sun.
Congrats for plowing through 90k subscribers! Lake Cuomo -- where Italy and Switzerland tease each other across a priceless landscape. Yes, I enjoyed this tour! This special posh hideaways will too soon be lost to the past. I'm amazed by the far-ranging and freewheeling design sense. Very busy. Wildly eclectic color pallet. Love the Oriental objet d'arts. The kitchen in the main house had me laughing out loud! A room right out of the imagination of a novelist with a great sense of humor -- let's not take ourselves too seriously, shall we? Someone got their way and a little breathing room in the kitchen with that 3D wallpaper! Yes? I think so...I ADORE the boxed lanterns mounted here and there. I'm not a fan of striped wall paper no matter who makes it. Love the stone faux wood flooring. Clever, that. and practical. 300 Euro a night? The Tower Hotel in London is more than that and the water feature surely isn't as expansive. Yes, I would be delighted to stay there for a weekend, or a week, in one of the rooms without striped wallpaper. The layout of the property is truly beautiful. A 'Candy Cane" cottage! I do prefer the second house, I have to confess. Yes, Nick -- do go in! Do we contact Abode to find out how to book a stay here here? I'm ready! That would be helpful! Going to auction? Why on earth? Thank you, Nick!
The 2nd time I've viewed this - or 3rd? Beautiful, stunning, gorgeous, inspiring, breathtaking ( I need my dictionary) does not adequately describe this amazing place. It's rich in every area - furniture, colour, art, design, flooring, lighting. Taste which is refined, but deep and full of soul; surely no other culture could come anywhere near what these people have achieved. Yes, I too adore Fornasetti and first came across beautiful lights many many years ago. My purse was woefully inadequate. There is no rule I'm aware of that dictates a Fornasetti light must be hung in an expensive apartment. Imagine the light of your dreams being the only truly beautiful possession in a rather shabby little house with faded lime paint, the colour of Nino Cerruti's walls. The colour of those walls, and the yellow floor tiles (some broken) on 2 of those balconies made my heart soar. It was uplifting and inspiring and filled me with joy and a bit of nostalgia. Where I live is not where I wish to remain, but through these videos you present, and books etc I can be transported. So thank you once again Nick.
Many thanks Nick for the exquisite tour of this gorgeous property. Greetings from Denver Colorado USA and Puerto Vallarta Jalisco México where we live! My wife and I visited Lago di Como way back in 2017, staying in a quaint lakefront Menaggio apartment (via Airbnb). As you said, Lake Como is Heaven. I enjoyed your video - quite the vicarious thrill. Grazie!
Absolutely perfect, just when I thought the tour was over the estate just kept going and going! The value you get in Italy is astounding, this would easily be 20-30 million in the US, if it was in California... perhaps 50 million dollars.
what a class act! you didn't overuse the word gorgeous nick! i love the staircase too and when you walked to the window for that view it was just absolutely beautiful! the colors offer such richness and the many textures lend themselves to the architecture and style that give the space a completeness that needs nothing more. that breakfast room! starting a day there would be utter delight..then step outside to those grounds and around them to only enter another paradise lol i concluded with the same word! - it's so out of the ordinary it seems a fairy tale! too much all in one take to take in is so true :) already thinking wow for the sequels you'll present!
Nick, I'm already strapped on pretend money from all the other places I've bought from you, and now you throw this at me? That's just not fair! These are the ones I really love, with the endless rooms and outbuildings, where you could get lost for days playing hide and seek. The use of colour in every room is amazing as well. As soon as I saw Thing crawling out of that pot at the front door holding a cane, I knew this was going to be a fun one. Thanks for another great tour! Neil
Everything inside of the house is beautiful, but were it me, I’d be very tempted to design it in a minimalist fashion. The house itself is the ultimate “antique.” The owner really has a fantastic sense of color. The French stove is a dream. While I normally despise wallpaper, their choices (especially the kitchen) are both tasteful and fanciful and are a complete delight. An exquisite estate, overall.
Wow quite the masterpiece. Beautiful grounds. Definately old world charm. So many places to sit and enjoy the scenery. Impressed not one thing out of place. The owners have taken care of this home with love. Thank you Nick for sharing with us.
This is like a dream. I love the kitchens and the stoves! The grounds are indescribably gorgeous and views are more than breathtaking. Seriously, Nick, you have the best job in the world! Thank you for your expertise and enthusiasm. You rock! ❤
that B&O is from early 90s, my father had that in Stockholm downtown in 92 I believe.. ha ha. so funny to see that one among everything else sticking out like that, a rare commodity in a house for a prince, what an amazing place you have found, is a dream worth saving up to!! thank you for sharing so much beauty with us all! 😃
I'd like to have one these beautiful properties that you've been showing us Nick,I just hope my bank account adjust like how your camera adjusts ;) till then wish everyone a happy life :)
Nick! Simply amazing. No other words (ok except beautiful as you said). Those owners have spent a long time collecting and decorating that piece of heaven. So do they consider it a b+b or a hotel? Lots of rental space and all. I have seen many of your one takes and this one IMHO is the best. I was in Lake Como last summer and it is a very special place. Was there a view of the lake that I missed? The main house is great but I would be very very happy with the caretakers cottage. Thank you again for showing us this one. Xo
this is got to be one of the most beautiful properties i've ever seen, and definitely one of, if not, the prettiest you've ever shared. thanks for those tours, and thanks for putting your heart in them, as this time, it was all over the place - showing your passion and love to what you do. thank you. that was amazing. going to get a lottery ticket.
A fairytale property. Thank you for sharing this exquisite property. Your passion and beautiful filming makes it even a greater delight. Very innovative to see the painted air conditioning units as well. ❤🙏
Quirky and beautiful. I am going to hazard a wild guess and say the owners must be (or had been) fans of the '60s TV show The Prisoner (created by and staring Patrick Mcgoohan in 1967). Black & White Striped awnings; everywhere; Mod eclectic 60s style throughout and even a Mini Moke in the garage. The property has the feel of Portmeirion (The Village) in North Wales even. Thank you for this. Wonderful!
This is perfect! sunlight gets inside the hole house cause there s windows everywhere you walk. I hate houses with closed estances. Stairs are too much inclined for my taste. But balcony in the upper room is a blessing, wake up in the morning with such a view as this must to be the best sensation. And last the exterior have no words to describe it.Theres some things to restore but incuided the style is so warm and amazing
WOOOW from the start to finish. Liberty & Deco: absolutely worderful ❤️ … the details!! ❤❤ This property is another piece of Art. What an excusite style. Chapeau to the owners. I enjoyed the video a lot. Thanks Nick 🙏🏻
Wow!!!! Incredible Thankyou so much Nick. I can’t believe you’re in lake Como . My sister and brother in law are there now too after spending two weeks in Sicily at a rented villa with their children and grandchildren. The children and grandchildren are now in Rome then off to Florence and all are haveing a great time.
Sorry sent before I finished. Iam so happy you were able to not only enjoy this amazing estate but also the area. Have a wonderful time and thanks again for this grand escape!💕🙏🕊🌹🦋❤️🌼🌸🌷
Dear Nick! Please always be as enthusiastic and happy as you are! Although you are selling real estate I hope you know you are spreading joy wherever you go! Your amazing laughter is sooo contagious!! What a beautiful building and the view is so fantastic. I would love to paint there. Lake Como, eh! Love the amazing ceiling and there are so many windows too, all sparkly clean! I love that nude painting.. Look at the size of that mirror!!! Okay, I have just beeen sitting here droooling! What a fabulous home! I LOVE THAT VIEW TO MILAN!!! Oh My Gosh! The wood work on the ceiling and old Vogue cover of Twiggy! I am totally giggling! Oh the tower room...I would just sit there meditating forever! Gorgeous Guest rooms! OMG and even a 2nd house Gee Fabulous painting on the wall! Okay I want that larger stove!! What a great tour, Nick and I will share this one on Linked in! (22,000 members) Keep smiling, Laara
@@italianproperty 😍I am so happy that you feel enjoyment reading my comments. I am just sitting here smiling remembering your expressions! Whoever travels with you give them a big hug from me and one for you too! May you always be happy and sell lots of real estate! With Appreciation, Laara
Nick OMG!!! I LOVE LOVE EVERY PART OF THIS HOUSE!!!! ❤❤❤❤ ITS GORGEOUS NO WORD I COULD DO IT JUSTICE STUNNING ❤❤❤❤🤩🤩🤩🤩 THANK YOU NICK FOR THIS TOUR ! JUST AMAZING! HAVE A AMAZING WEEK !! ❤❤❤❤
A lifetime of accumulated sensory overload. The best, of the best of. Four million euros!? There will be a lot of broken piggy banks because of this video. I struggle to find a place to start commenting about. I am not sure besides the grounds, that I would leave the main house kitchen other than to have a cocktail with the monkey. Then there would be the conflict of getting me out of the gazebo by the pool. I guess I would just have to live in the moment and see what develops. So many styles and places seem to be represented at this property. Did I mention it is overlooking Como? I haven’t seen a Mini Moke since Barbados. Why am I surprised one showed up here. The “dream” video of all time! Done of course by the Maestro of property videos, our own Nick Ferrand. This is without a doubt the type of place I would expect to run into you. The place in Lisbon coming in a close second of course. You have, as always, delivered as promised. This is a long evolution from Casa Piccola isn’t it? Our weekly Architectural Design Cinematography Class. Thank you.
If I win the lottery by then, this will be the place I die at. Not now, I’m only 59. But the rest of my years will be filled with joy…and the sound of music albeit from a tape player.
How can the reserve be only 4M Euros? This place is like a gigantic fun palace! I can't even imagine trying to pack up all the STUFF in it..I imagine a lot of it is included in the auction? How long did the present owners have this place? Amazing
