Measuring and assembling a Lycoming O320 oil pump for a super cub engine using micrometer, snap gauge and depth micrometer. We measure to get our clearances between the oil pump gears, shafts, and housing and then assemble with assembly grease. Last, this oil pump requires safety wire between the three castle nuts.
