Star Fox 64, also known as Lylat Wars, is a 3D rail shooter game released in 1997 for the Nintendo 64. You pilot an Arwing fighter throughout the Lylat System battling Andross's forces. The game features on-rails missions with branching paths and occasional free-roaming sections. Star Fox 64 received positive reviews and is considered a classic. You can find it on the original Nintendo 64, the Nintendo 3DS as Star Fox 64 3D, and the Wii U as a downloadable title.
