I have had golf ball size lymph glands in both arm pits for a couple years, finally got an ultra sound and last vist my Dr said we won't talk about that today, she only addressed my routine vist of thyroid medication checkup. I now have more glands swelling, left side of my neck and left side of rib cage. I have changed gp and still no solution, none want to look at it. In my area it's common for Dr to only spend 6-8 minutes with you, no physical exams are done anymore. I was having breathing problems she laughed at and I had to push for asthma test which came back positive and treatment needed. I feel patients are treated poorly in this day. It's all a money racket now. Many people in my area have had similar issues and one died because Dr. Didn't take him serious, dentist sent a bad tooth out for testing because of his concerns came back leukemia and he was dead that week

These are just things I’ve learned because with I or my son has had them and more: Cat Scratch fever is a coinfection of Lyme. The infection is from tick poison (Do NOT think bull’s eye rash!), and can be brought in from a cat or anything else and the cat can get it under their nails. Also, if you have breast implants, your body will be fighting off the toxins and you will have enlarged glands everywhere. I had them in my tonsils and everywhere else, but had my tonsils taken out at age 62. Also, upper cervical spine disc issues can block the drainage from the brain and the waste from the brain goes down the throat and into the neck lymph nodes. My son has constant eye and sinus problems, a chronic sore throat, and teeth that hurt. These toxins from anything can really clog up your lymph nodes. I speak from years of experience. 🙏💕💫

Diagnosed with COVID a few days ago. Felt my glands start to swell, then the chest congestion + fever went away & the lymph nodes continued to swell (respond). Outside of a LOT of pain when swallowing, I feel no discomfort from the Covid symptoms. They did what they needed to do! The white cells responded, but dear god - the pain from the swelling is real.

Everyone should be practicing lymphatic drainage. It's something you can do yourself in the privacy of your own home with just a soft dry brush. There are a few techniques on you tube. Very beneficial.

I have lymph nodes on both sides of my groins. What Specialist Doctor would I need to see? Would my Gastroenterologist be able to help or do I need to be referred to a Urologist? My Primary Care Doctor was not concerned when I went to him with 1 left side lymph node a year ago, but now they’re on both sides. Could there be any correlation between GI issues and lymph nodes in the groins?

What kind of biopsy is preferable? If a person does have cancer wouldn’t it be risky to poke it with a needle and letting the cancer leak out? And if they don’t have cancer surgery maybe would be too invasive.

I had a swollen lymph in my neck and it has stayed for years and the Drs won't do a biopsy. Then others have popped up and once again the Drs won't do a biopsy. I get them scanned and the scans don't shoe signs of malignancy but I have been told that only a biopsy can rule this out. Is that correct?

Any type of cervical lymphadenopathy or lymph node swelling in the neck is meaningful. It must represent infection of some type in the head and neck. That's typically the cause. More unusual causes can include lymphoma, tuberculosis and cat scratch ( two unusual infections)disease.

Does anybody get Swollen glands on their neck when you drink milk? Goat milk and every other milk is fine I don’t get the reaction but why cow milk? I’ve been researching about this because when I drink milk, my glands pop up and stay for a few days and don’t go away.

I've had a swollen lymph node on the neck below the jawline, for about 3months already last month feb 2 i had a dr appointment, he scheduled an ultrasoind and he said it looked "normal" i scheduled a follow up as he indicated for march 2 and he seemed kind of annoyed that i went back he said it was totally normal. I didnt like his respose so im changing dr's my next appointment is march 17 with the new dr hopefully she can do more studies on me as one of my close aunts did have throat cancer.

My 20 yr old gf is experiencing a similar case to yours. However, she went through a biopsy but with a different case as there are two lumps she found 6 months ago in her breasts and fortunately they were benign. Now, the pain she is experiencing is a different lump that is quite soft in her left armpit near breast area, it hurts so bad like a sharp tool stabbing like pain as she describes it. It’s been like almost a month now since she noticed this and still feeling the same pain. Any advice or anyone who’s experienced such?

I have a swollen lympth node on my armpit and fever. Everyone's telling me to go get it checked out right now. My doctor clinic is not open on weekends. My doctor has. done blood work on me 8 months ago as part of routine and my white count was high then. I suffer from anemia and so by default they keep track of my iron. This has nothing to do with my lympth node on my arm pit but my white count being elevated before and now this. concerns me.

Few days ago the corner of my mouth began to tingle, turns out to be a herpes breakout. Now my lymph node on the same side of my jaw line as the herpes breakout is swollen and very very painful. Hiya, I’m 22, I graduated a year ago right now I just work. i know its unlikely I’m gonna get answers, but I’ve been getting swollen lymph nodes for a while and it always seems to be in the same place under my armpits they come and go in like episodes and as a perosn I’m usually very fatigued and out of breath but when I get them it’s like I get proper sick and the symptoms intensity and I look gross and sweaty. Like I said the come and go in liek few days and it’s always in one or the other armpit it usually changes. My bloods showed a low anemia (so I started taking ironsupplements again) but they also showed abnormal ESR rate. The doctor didn’t really say anything much about it refferences me for chest scan X-ray for my chest pains I was all clear. So does any health care proffesionsal know what underlying condition apart from the scariest and typical answer for google to give me .... can cause this? My chest pains are not as frequent any more however I do get pinching sensation in my underarms all I know is that one or twice atleast everymonth I get ill, feverish without actual fever just that I’m feeling flushed and hot all day, I’m extremely fatigued and then my lymph node in my armpit is flared and I have a painful bump, This has also been confirmed by the doctor the other reason to rule it out is like some feminists cause I don’t shave religiously under the arms. when this happens it stays for few more days then it goes away.... I’m still fatigued but the others go. What the hell is this? 🤣like I said it goes away and it can vary when I first got this it was the worst experince of them all I got really ill and had night sweats .... the most painful one. The second time it didn’t hurt and it didn’t stay that long then the times after that they varied I felt pain and some didn’t last long at all and went after 3 days. It’s also worth mentioning I’m not sexually active.

I found out I have glandular fever out I have three years ago when I have become very sick with cold, swollen tonsils, fatigue, swollen lymph nodes and so on. After two weeks I was back to normal, let's just say I recovered. Everything with me is fine but my lymph is still swollen till this day on the right side of my throat and the back of my neck right side. It is extremely visible if I bend or raise my neck but I don't get pain. I asked my doctor what should I do but the reply I have gotten was it's less than 1 inch I don't need to do anything and it's fine for me to live with it. Okay I'm in recovery from addiction from opiates. Been clean for 15 years now. But I've been fighting tooth infections for many years from tooth infections exposed roots to abscess teeth as well. Now I feel some discomfort in my neck but I have no signs of swelling lymphs that I can see or feel. I do however feel soreness under the jaw bone. But just wondering if anyone had experience any of these symptoms. Please help if you have in advice or information please let me know in the comments.

I wish he was my doctor. Last year in September 2020 I brought it up to my doctor that I had a bump below my chin. I spoke with my ENT also who said it’s probably just a swollen lymph node. Fast forward to May 2021 I have had a Ultrasound followed by a CT with contrast. Now I have to get biopsied. I’m so nervous I have cancer now because nobody listened to me. 🥺

I tried not to see anything on this. I had my 2nd COVID vaccine on Feb 11,2021 and 3 days later. I had a terrible painful pain on my underarm where I got vaccinated. Waited 2 month and had a sonogram done and I had 3 lymph nodes swollen. They told me I had to go and a follow up 3 months later. I did and 2 of the lymph nodes went away except 1. 3 days later which it was yesterday I had a biopsy. They took 5 pieces to get tested. Now I wait 2 to 3 days for results. Hard fixed lump below my left ear under the skin. Larger than a grape in size near the top of my jaw line. It is hard fixed and immobile. No pain just pressure and numbness. Feels like something is attached to my neck. Doctors sent me away as they wore not concerned. I attended A&E they sent me for a ultrasound. The lump was diagnosed as a swollen lymph node. Months later still present seen by the ENT again he diagnosed the lump as a swollen lymph node. No further tests or investigations wore mentioned or offered. Since the ENT appointment no further investigations suggested to see if any changes have happened in that time frame. The lump has just been left and ignored 😕😕 Still large in size and has never reduced in size in that time. Now I have a much smaller swollen lymph node present on the back of my neck.

My lymph nodes is swollen on side of my neck. I am a smoker. Could there be a possible chance I could have lung cancer. I already had MRI scan and bisopy done on my neck. Now doctors saying they want to do another Bisopy on ears neck and throat and a full body MRI.
