this is hard to watch. plyometric drills being performed in the sand? Leads to no benefit to these young athletes because the surface of the sand lengthens the amortization phase of the stretch shortening cycle. Sure these young men get their heart rate and are burning calories, but the sand doesn’t add benefit to sport performance. It in fact hinders performance. And you’re a CSCS? I thought you learned that in order to pass the exam?

actually studies have shown different.. But your opinion matters to and I have seen studies to prove you are right as well...

You just said, "...the sand doesn’t add benefit to sport performance." That's hard to read. You must not have had all the information and understanding ( the Truth) at that time.

If I’m not mistaken the hinderance of performance in the moment is the benefit.

@@karatebearcortez5151 nope. training in sand will underdevelop your tendons and overdevelop your muscles, such that switching back to hard surfaces increases your risk of injuring your elastic structures because they are no longer prepared for the rate of force transfer.
