I have over 10K kills by this shotgun in BF1. Not because it's the best shotgun i just like the way it looks, what a beautiful hardware.

(imo) best animations : KF2 best sound : KF1 worst animations : sniper elite 3 (well its a third person shooter so eh) worst sound : cod WW2 (not hating on cod , but it literally sounds like someone is heavily punching a pillow)

when you notice COD WAW looks better than WW2 regardless of the "next gen" graphics....(and also plays better)

The most realistic one is Battlefield 1, but the one in Killing Floor 2 sounds satisfying.Others sounded like a reskinned M870.

Why is it that the shotgun in a CoD from 2005 sounds better than the one a CoD from 2017?

In my opinion, CoD WaW's trench gun sounds the best. I've listened to recordings of real trench guns, and WaW's sound lines up pretty close with em. I'd assume it was one of the guns they shot when developing the sounds for the game.

Battlefield 1's trench gun seems to get the closest to slam fire action

Should have shown the slamfire in action in BF1, the only game in this list that I know of that actually allows you to slamfire the Trench gun.

The Shotgun from Fistfull of Frags is one of if not the best weapon to get in the game

Fun fact!: The trench gun could turn automatic when the pump is pushed back at the same time you pull the trigger, and release the pump.

Ah yes, my beloved, the Trench Broom, the only gun in history to cause an entire Empire to have a skill issue.

if you notice, BF1 is the only game to properly simulate the trenchgun's "slam fire" where you just hold down the trigger and pump to fire quickly on every pull-forward, this slam fire gives the trench gun a VERY FAST firerate, but every other game seems to think there the gun is like every other shotgun where a pause (COD WW2 is the worst offender imo) on the matter of CoD WW2's trenchgun, it would be quite redundant to put on a buckhorn rear sight post on a shotgun such as that
