I still think Robb needs to let Vogg loose a bit more. Vogg is a great riff writer and having two new members from extreme metal backgrounds (Vogg is a tech-death legend with Decapitated although they've been more groove-driven in recent years, while Matt Alston was with Devilment, Dani Filth's side project) brings all kinds of new possibilities to future MH output. But it needs Robb to let those two have a say.
My cousin have been talking about MH and Jesse in different conversations lately. It's just amazing that they're both on a track together. Speak it into existence.
Too bad Robb is an a***hole now as well as his associate Phil Anselmo! I was a loyal fan of Pantera and Machine Head, but after the song "B*st*rds", i immediately destroyed everything i owned of Machine Head, and sadly, Pantera also! It's sad that Robb has went down this direction and wasted it for not only himself, but for others at the most part, along with his best buddy/associate Phil, who i also can't stand for the record also!

This is the collab I didn't know I needed, I've loved machine head and KSE since 2005, I was so hyped for the signal fire, mad respect to you guys for making this, let's all drop to one knee and raise the horns high to show the metal community doesn't support classifying people as anything but human
If you think this is good (and if you haven't already heard it), check out the song Robb wrote and sang on with Howard Jones from the Roadrunner United album. It's called "The Dagger".
MIssed oppourtunity to call this pairing "Machine Engage". Seriously though, this sounds much stronger and throughput than anything that was on Catharsis. It feels like there was more work and thought put into the lyrics, and the riffs are heavy and give more of that classic MH-vibe. Really good track.
Not saying they didn't put effort into Catharsis but you can tell they were extra amped to make this track. The current situation must have really lit a fire under them and you can tell because this song rips.
Music to this song have been recorded in December 2018 and only lyrics very recently, in few hours after the death of George Floyd. I love its heaviness and pure metal energy but with same passion I love Catharsis, for its diversity of music styles and powerful lyrics. MFH!!🤘🖤🔥
ONE HUNDRED PERCENT! Bastards felt uninspired and forced. This is the result of genuine inspiration and authentic passion. I'm proud of both of these guys.
Simone Calloni : Yes, I agree, there is no place for racism anywhere on Earth. Have you ever wonder why it's White people who claim this in White society? ○ North America 🇺🇲 🇨🇦 ○ Europe 🇪🇺 ○ Australia / NZ 🇦🇺 🇳🇿 But never other colors? Worse than that, I've never heard any people of color in others cultures saying stop White racism or racism! No? Because they don't care !
Cool I did not expect this. I'm a black metalhead. I've been a metalhead for a decade. I just want to enjoy the only music that helped me from suicide. Without dealing with NSBM idiots. I'm into mostly Technical death metal bands like Archspire, Spawn of Possession, Dying Fetus, Cattle Decapitation. And Dsbm bands like, Coldworld, Thy Light, Bleak, Apatheia, Depressive Mode.
Many Metal and HC/Punk bands have black members, unfortunately there are not enough cause it's obvious that they are always unique and high quality bands. Body Count, Bad Brains, Death (the 70's punk band), Crown of Thorns, Suffocation, Killswitch Engage - H.Jones Era, Cyclone Temple, Animals as Leaders and the list goes on. Black people are first of all about rythm itself, they have it in their veins only the Cubans are to compare in this. Normally there shouldn't even be the necessity so to us be discussing these things in 2020. We are all people and art is from everyone to anyone. Peace brother
You are awesome, bro. In metal community you don't need to describe your colour and nationality. Bang your head to heavy riffs with your brothers from all over the world
@@ojtheviking I mean, he kind of sets himself up for it. Plus the track record speaks for itself with the member turnover and putting most of the spotlight on himself. He's lucky he is very good at creating catchy riffs, cause his lyrics haven't been good lately
@@andrewz58 Nah, online trolls are just looking for every excuse to bash people. Also, if member turnover is an indicator, that speaks poorly to Tony Iommi and Black Sabbath as well. I don't see people bashing him every chance they get, though.
@@ojtheviking 100% So sick of seeing the trolling on these guys. Been listening to MH since '95. Their catalog as a whole is phenomenal. So many great songs. They are amazing live, and give everything at their shows. Do they have a few duds...yes...but nothing to warrant the shit people give them. It doesn't matter WHAT they do, there is always trash talk behind it. If they put out something heavy, their just doing "the same old shit". If they experiment/ go back to their Red album style, they should "stick to their heavy stuff/ Burn my Eyes". Can't win with people. They pioneered a sound that has been copied by many. They have WAY more great songs than a lot of bands, and have managed to keep pushing forward for over 25yrs. Got my respect.
This literally has been Jesse’s year of music. Killswitch Engage dropping the new album Atonement II, The Weapon (Jesse’s punk band) dropping new music, good news about Times Of Grace album being done, and this?! What a year Jesse.
@@FrenchPaul1988 No, but metal HAS always been about saying "fuck you" to oppressive authority figures who try to stomp you down. The more they kill people, the more important it gets.
THIS IS THE HEAVY METAL THAT PLAYS INSIDE OF MY AMERICAN MELTING POT! BIG UP AND MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF RESPECT TO KILLSWITCH ENGAGE! AND A VERY HEARTFELT HAPPY CONTINUED ANNIVERSARY AND CONTINUED WORLWIDE SUCCESS TO MACHINE HEAD!! Respectfully.... Nigel S. Clayton Production Unit AEG LIVE - WEBSTER HALL NYC!
@@Unleashedraider1985 dude dont listen to real music, Machine Head has earned their way from nothing to the loudest fucking band in the festival. Live music tells you everything about them
@@Unleashedraider1985 I do partially agree with you, but Machine Head used to be good, the new Machine Head has no redeeming qualities or unique band aspects, so they have to jump the gun on political bullshit, and I absolutely DESPISE politics in music.
you obviously didnt listen the Havok's-Conformicide album or Megadeths- Dystopia. there are quite a few bands that make meaningful music, just not usually huge bands or bands that are SJW. Flynn is an SJW it literally tore apart the band, it just so happens that this time the outrage culture has a valid reason to be outraged.
I don't feel like metal or punk lost any of their meaning. They have always been relevant, and there's even a lot of SJW in there (Ministry, that Mexican band who made an anti-Trump record back when people were still believing Hillary would win...)
@@FormedUnique first off "SJW" is a meaningless word that becomes "anything left of Ronald Regan. Second, punk and metal both have been left since their creation.
People act like this is shocking and fell to realized machine had started out in California and started doing nu metal around the 2000s this is not shocking machine head would do this because they never been a racist associated band if anything they're the most accepting understanding being out there And this is sure a lot better than what oteps came out in the last 5 to 10 years I'm glad to hear this
Punctuation and spelling are important, and Machine Head started before the 2000s; around 1991 actually. So please, Google some facts before posting things.
Machine Head wasn't Nu Metal at 1st and they dropped their album in '94. They started to do that toward the late 90s (The Burning Red, Supercharger). And its "failed to realize".
Supercharger I listened to back in day I had all there albums even have blackening tattoo and. Supercharger don't even compare to shit they did with Phil after bloodstone and diamonds I lost faith. This to meh never cared for killswitch now I will listen to AILD Unearth and Bleed from Within all 3 bands rip this song a new asshole imo
Now I remember why I'm such a Machine Head fan and part of the Headcase family 👊😈👊 after hearing this song a couple times, it finally grew on me. Looking forward to hearing new Machine Head in the future
