Does anyone else hold their breath when Angela is quilting? I'm going to practice this time instead of just watching. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
Hi Angela, this was the first video I have watched from you. Your precision is mesmerizing and I must binge watch more now. Julie. Sydney Australia. ♥️🇦🇺
Angela Walters, you are a free motion quilting champion! Your love for the art is clear in your selfless sharing, in your continuing innovation, and in your joyful presentation. You are my favorite quilting celebrity and I hope to enjoy your videos for a long time. Thank you!
I just wanted to say your are as lovely in person as you are on RU-vid. It was such an honor and pleasure to meet you this last week and at your quilt walk. I wished I would’ve spent more time watching and learning from you then the walk itself, but maybe next time. thank you for all you do for us who really want to learn how to quilt. you are lovely and thank you for introducing us to the lovely Miss Tulip Pink you both are as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside thank you again
Angela, thank you for such a great video! Your enthusiasm is contagious, I want to quilt circles on everything. But of course, As usual, my eyes are bigger than my stomach -I can hardly wait to get started on the panel, hope mine has a resemblance to yours. You are so positive, an excellent instructor and lovely person. Thanks again for your expertise!
It was such a pleasure and honor to meet you this weekend at your quilt walk. You and you and Tula Pink are as lovely on the outside as you are on the inside. I wished I would’ve spent all of my time just talking and watching and learning from you but maybe next year thanks again for all you do
Hello, I just finished sorting a massive amount of Christmas fabric from a friend. I think I'll be busy making Christmas quilts for the next few months! I hope you have a joyful week ahead! Thank you for sharing your video and for your talent.
Can’t wait to get started! Thank you! My adult son just asked if you were doing all,of that yourself or is your machine doing it. Silly man! I told him I am going to learn to do this too. He asked, why? doesn’t your fancy machine do that? Well, yea but, I WANT to learn to do it myself. Insert eye roll from him. I will show him! Thanks Angela!
Me too I’m going to try not just watch. I’m so glad that we can watch more than once. Partly because I need refreshers and partly because I have some family commitments. Thank you Angela for sharing and for your positive attitude.
I worked on the circles today. So much fun….. I plan to use the bubbles on my next baby quilt! I have recently run out of ideas….. so I am excited about this challenge…..thank you Angela!!
What a great video. Just like the other quilters, I am inspired and ready to try pebbles on this lovely panel you designed. 🙂 wish I coul've come to the quilt walk. Glad it went well.
These tips have helped me so much! Of course I watched it first and then went and Quilted on a finished quilt. Put some bubbles and pebbles into one of my borders. I did OK however, I wish that I had rewatch the video prior. I have too many traveling lines and too many overlapping lines.
I am about to start quilting a quilt made of triangles, 1 row solid colour 1 row patterned fabric alternating. I love that i can use this to work along with you. Thank you so much.
FYI.. in the handout, the picture of “echoed pebbles” is really just another picture of “overlapping pebbles” . You can even see they are identical except that the camera shifted a little.
Yes, I went back and re-watched the vid. The echoed circles are completely inside the larger ones; whereas the overlapping ones are only partially inside; partially outside. I’m sure it was just a mistake of inserting the wrong photo. Maybe someone can mention it this afternoon at the Q&A and she can fix it. 😊 Not sure I’ll get home in time. 🌷
Love your tutorials, Thank you! Was trying to visit your website and in all browsers I have tried I get a warning that your website is unsafe and contains malware. Thought you might want to look into that!
Angela, can't help noticing your quilting gloves. Where can I get them? I usually just cut off fingers on my regular quilting gloves, but yours look perfect.
So I have all my supplies for this challenge, but I’m not exactly sure how to prepare my panel before I start. Do I go ahead and add the four borders before I start any quilting? This might be a no-brainer, but then again I might be a no-brainer! 🤪
I think so, bc you’re eventually going to want to quilt your borders, too, right? So put the whole top together and then make the sandwich or put on the Q frame. 😊🌷
I am using the Sweet 16 sit down machine. Do you recommend stitching in the ditch on just the areas we are working on or do I stabilize the whole panel? I like the echo you do in each section. I assume I do that when starting the section? Love your videos!
I saw that someone asked this question but can't find the answer. On the current Free-motion Quilting challenge do you stitch in the ditch first to outline your diamonds?
How do you make sure that your sandwich is smooth in the back? That is my biggest concern; I will end up with puffy backing, gathered or doubled over backing.
Please help me I’m sooo frustrated and have reached out to all you tube experts I watch I have a Brother PQ 1500 and trying to free motion meandering squiggles it keeps skipping stitches. I’m using cotton fabrics , batting n thread and rethreaded cleaned adjust top tension on knob n HLx5 needles as suggested n Nada 😩😡I’m sick of ripping out stitches n quilt getting worn out . Please help me can’t afford a repair shop none around here anyway Ruual Georgia. Thank U
