for everybody in the comment section that don't know. I'm pretty sure this is the same kind of product that Nivea has that the white moisturizer like base has the tiniest pigment beads that burst when rubbed. so it doesn't actually adjust to your skin.

I dont think the product adjusts to the skin color because if it does then it would look light like the color of her face, which is light. Her body is tan though so it matches. The product itself has micro pigments thats why they have different shades.

Joana Pruel she said she didn't get the one for paler skin tones because of her tan. she only got the darker shade because she wanted to match her tan.

She has a fair skin tone, the product comes in 2 tones, Fair and Medium to Tan, she got Medium to Tan so its intended for a skin tone darker than hers, which is what she intended. It definitely adjusts to skin tone as long as you get the right tone for you. It just looked like a dramatic change in color because again, she got the medium tan color when shes very fair.

Niki N A lot of Korean brands don't offer darker colors bc most Koreans have lighter skin. hopefully they well as they become more popular in the states

Niki N If you're into cushion foundations, Bobbi Brown is the way to go. They carry darker shades compared to other cushion foundations.

Tavros Nitram Please don't assume things, not all Koreans are discriminative. They don't produce darker shades because there isn't much cultural diversity in Korea, so Korean companies don't bother. However, if people with darker skin tones begin to live over there, I'm sure they'll start producing a wider range.

Skye Korea IS pretty discriminative towards people with darker skintones because in the past a tan was typically associated with outdoor labour. Although it's not that they're discriminative towards more tan people and people of colour in regards to makeup, it's just that their target audience is Koreans, not an extremely small percentage of foreigners in their country. So her colour would be considered darker to koreans, who typically want to wear makeup to make themselves appear lighter and are commonly not that dark skinned.

L'oreal Lumi bb or cc cream is way better. They are white first then they become your skin color and they have so much coverage it's crazy. They have ones for people that have red in there skin and need to fix it. They have a few different colors and needs for color correcting. I love love love them! The whole Lumi line is unbelievable.

This is just my opinion but I personally prefer Korean skincare and makeup. Simply because BB and CC cream/foundation usually has ingredients, used in skincare, incorporated into it. Korean skincare is around 10 years ahead of western skincare. However, different people prefer different products :)

Carmen K I don't think skin care in make up works. Because makeup isn't made to be fully absorbed into your pores ( you'd probably would get acne otherwise). whereas skincare is made to be absorbed into deeper layers of the skin.

Carmen K but yeah korean make up is definitely more advanced and just way better in general. I feel like it's better quality and for a better price then western makeup.

Im so glad that I exchanged this cream into the light one! First the medium to dark one matched my skin more, but when I was at home it turned into orange and it was to dark for me! I felt like it got darker after some time on my skin. I think you also could have used the light one (shade claire). I have a little bit darker skin than yours and the shade clair was definetely the right one for me!

I remember using the L’Oréal version of this, they had a magic BB cream (still might idk) and I really loved it. I ordered this a couple weeks ago and it arrives tomorrow, I’m so excited to try it. I don’t like or need a lot of coverage so I’m hoping this will be my new holy grail face product! Thanks for the review :)

I just looked it up at Sephora and they have a kit with both the bb and cc cream for $36 I think I will try it, I don't wear too much makeup during the week so this would be so good to just lather on and do blush mascara and lipstick and I would be good to go Your skin looks so good

I got a sample of this and it matches my skin tone perfectly, it really makes my skin smooth, I think for the small amount of product it's super expensive cause it's more a daily product I went back to sephora and one of the seller gave me a little jar of this product for free so happy! I really love this I wish I have gallons of this

Gina Ritacco the only thing is that at the end of the day my skin is soo greasy when I use this product ans when I have it on my face when it's hot outside I sweat so much more it haves spf on it so it's heavy and makes me sweat so much when it's hot :(

goldfishandanimalcrackers thanks love! Don't overlook the drugstore they have really stepped up their game! They have some great options and the price is right! Loreal is a good foundation to start with, their shade range is huge! Loreal true match original formula and pro glow are great light/medium coverage foundations!

If you loved this Erborian CC cream then you HAVE to try the Charlotte Tilbury healthy glow hydrating tint. It changes colors soon as you rub it as well and it just blurs your pores and evens out skin tones on top of giving you a sun-kissed look. Then all you need to do is conceal if you have to. It's definitely a holy grail product as well.

Josie Maran makes a cc cream and it does the same thing and it's all natural. she also has a foundation that does the color adjusting thing too.

I've been using it for 3 years now and it's still one of my fave's!!!! you should try the pink one too, gives you a dewy glow and its a great moisturizer! You don't need to use that much product, it lasts me like 8 months to finish! I enjoyed the video thanks!

I have the BB cream and the CC cream in travel sizes, they usually always have it in travel size aswell and it's a great deal, at least in Sephora Europe. Just Subscribed to you, found this video in my suggestions, maybe because of Christen Dominique :)

They have one for darker complexions. Claire is for light to medium and the Doire is for medium to tan. Company’s tend to make more of what they sell. Koreans tend to be very light and some even bleach their skin to be lighter. That is why you will see their makeup lines catering to fair complexions. So, if you visit South Korea take your own makeup because it is hard to find maker for dark skin. I use this CC cream and I love it.

Nature Republic has a Color Change cc like this but $27 american. it's used as a primer, but some use it as a base for powder for a nature look since korean make aims for more nautral. I'm a NC25 and works great. some tanner shades will work, but not to kind after that unless you want to look ashy:(

i think you could wear it if you have oily skin as well! i can't say for sure which one you should get because i haven't tried the lighter one but if you think you're lighter than me, id probably go with the lighter version

Hello! You are so GORGEOUS! 😍🤤 I just bought this cc cream today, but wondering, do you wear sunscreen with this cc cream? If so, do you use the sunscreen before or after the cc cream? Because my sunscreen is a must (and I always wear it before my other bb/cc cushion) -- but as the erborian claimed it changes colour when it is in contact with the skin, so I am wondering, if there is a layer of sunscreen before wearing it, will it still work? 🤔🤔🤔🤔

The Body Shop BB Cream, the one in the silver tube, does that too. I thought it was bs until I went to the store and tried it. I'll be buying that though because I doubt this product will fit my tone.
