Brother, first off, please know that my comments all come from a constructive perspective and no hate or discontent. Secondly, know that I am a lifelong New Orleanian from the Magnolia Projects. Now I'm in the military (Air National Guard) and been in for 27 years. I also did 19 years of law enforcement (yes, I did both at the same time). You have a lot of inconsistencies in your video that you should know. I will point out some notables: the City of New Orleans doesn't and didn't own the housing developments. That's owned by the feds (Housing of Urban Development- HUD) and THEY'RE the ones that decided long before Katrina was even thought about to demolish ALL public housing, not just in New Orleans. Another point- not all levees broke during Hurricane Katrina. I was a police officer in the city working at the time and the 17th Street Canal levee (one of the canals that connect the Mississippi River to Lake Pontchartrain) is the one that broke. Some others may have gave out, but not all of them. Also, displaced New Orleanians were bussed all over the country, not just to Houston. Lastly (but not the least), Magnolia Shorty was with a dude in the car that was the target, not her. She caught it since she was with him; the assassins weren't aiming for her, my dude. And B. Stupid was definitely not the most feared man in the city. He may have been one of the most brazen, but not the most feared. He was under one of the camps of arguably the most feared, and that's Mr. Telly Hankton. I can correct you on many other things, but I'd like to close with a small piece of advice; you should lead off with saying your content is unconfirmed, or what you heard or read, because you lose credibility when you have multiple statements and stories in your video that the average person knows isn't true and can back up their refutes with hard evidence. Again, this is not to shame or clown you, but in my humble hopes, to make you and your videos and channel that much better, brother. Thank you for posting it and the time you took in making it.
@@koodigocrxzy465 They may have heard the ground cracking up, which can sound like gunshots (I recall from being overseas with the military), so that could've been what they heard.
Keep up the good work! One of my favorite channels really gives insight, history, and culture on numerous cities and locations. Gotta do some East Coast areas like NY, Philly, NJ, D.C. Baltimore, and North Carolina got a lot hip hop history and street history out here!
@@incdro7483 no tf it ain’t! Damn never every city that has a high black population and hip hop scene or artist has history. So Philly don’t got hip hop culture and street culture? NY is the birth place so we already know, D.C. Baltimore??? U sound dumb asf even tryna troll
The Reason black people leave Louisiana when they get money is because of racism the whites will try to take you down, you seen boosie vladtv interview when he said why master p and birdman left Louisiana because of racism but instead of worrying about these rappers you should be worrying about the white women that Ted Bundy, Meth and Herion mistreated and the Catholic Priests and jeff epstein victims...all white 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
B- Stupid wasn't the most feared man in New Orleans, nobody holds that title in a city full of killas. He had big dogs he looked up to and you can look at Telly Hankton stories and see he did way more shit and still he had enemies that weren't afraid of him either. Good channel though, keep doing ya shit!
Yea this video was all the way off. He tried to politic new orleans. That 90 day shit was a mf. It was so many killings they don't even know how many ppl really died

I’m from Severn, MD 13 miles SW of Baltimore…my projects were just renovated, it’s call the RAD program…a federal program where the govt sells the projects to private companies so the govt doesn’t have to pay for renovations. One of the terms of the purchase is they have to remain “affordable”…
My dad worked as a maintenance man during Katrina when they came to Houston they were in the apartments in front of the astrodome and my dad grew to hate anyone from n.o. Just the way they would disrespect EVERYTHING!! A lot of good people came over but the ones cause trouble we’re gone within a year…

Yeah you missed a lot, Magnolia Shorty wasn’t targeted, she was a casualty of war, she died because she just so happened to have somebody in the car w her (Jerome Hampton aka ManMan), he was targeted but both was killed, I read the transcripts & they didn’t even know it was Magnolia Shorty until after they was on top of the car shooting already
@@nemohos4885 Bruh got 13 bodies and only did 6 or 7 years….I bet he got a whole new name and the government probably wanted to use him in the military
She knew Man man had a contract on his head since he left Texas and came back to New Orleans. Him and Bstupid killed the wrong mofo and it ended with Rabbit and some other 3NG niggas dumpin over 50 rounds in her car. It all goes back to the soldier slim execution. Watch the company you keep.
Ironically it has the landscape as Amsterdam sea level wise the only difference is they spent a fortune on the levees there and haven't had any issues since which has been like 50 plus years ago
Peep..if you live in neworleans, take a ride to mandeville. Use the twin span bridge coming back..notice you wont start seeing the buildings in the city till you’re half way cross lake pontchatrain (damn near the end). That my friend is how deep the city is below sea level. It’s scary as hell when you think about it but hey…
Yep went to North shore in Houston Texas. I remember all the ppl from new Orleans coming in. It ended up causing a lot of issues with the residents of Houston but eventually everything calmed down, and will crest used to be tennis world.
A lot of them was in the bay when I was a teenager back in 05 they was crazy and wild but we didn’t go down we fought back it didn’t matter how many was there but still they was Wild
S/O 2 My Fam In the N.O....they Mos definitely came 2 tha Bay...They was in the City light weight thick likee...they thought they was turnt...until, they found out we was wit tha shit too....on my mama...
@@TRiiiP_GanG_CapoPop_it_4_Cdubb man nigga ain’t hearing that shit. We respect the bay but my pppl extorted a couple niggas out there and beat some shit up too. I got a kuzzin still in jail out there for slangin iron at y’all out there. It’s aleast one New Orleans nigga in prison in these states we went too Bekux we was causing soo much havoc and our women with the shit too
Not to take away nothing from yo video. But 3NG didn't kill Magnolia Shawty on purpose. She got killed because of who she was in the car with. Go look up "Gregory Rabbit Stewart" he called the hit and felt a lil remorse for it. It's in court documents it's like a 7 part series. But anyways appreciate you shedding light on my city.
In this way tho with the focus being on the homicides between people of color and other nonsense? There's so much other cultural history that can be taught. I get his target audience tho, so we're here for entertainment I suppose.
@@treyc6988 first of all what you just said about the city is going all be the imagine of the city and there is more and trust me people are looking in that direction as well but the spot light as getting blogs to mention us share light on everything us for the musical artist yeah it’s negativity but fans love drama and it’s actually nothing no human can do or say that will stop criminal especially when it’s a business as well sometimes you have to take the good with the bad just don’t let it stop you
Crazy how $1300 a month for a 1 bedroom sounds outrageous to everyone. Here in San Francisco youd be lucky to get yourself 1 bedroom in an in-law unit which is basically a makeshift apartment behind someone’s garage with 2 roommates crammed in with you for that much.
@@oakfromlouisiana4380 I feel that but even with minimum wage at $15 per hour, it’s not enough money to get a 1 bedroom apartment even in a bad neighborhood. In San Francisco the last “cheap” neighborhood is Visitation Valley, and even there a 2 bedroom house will cost you 900k if you’re lucky. And this is a high crime area with literally no grocery stores or restaurants, they don’t even have a police station in the neighborhood even though the notorious sunnydale housing projects are in the neighborhood. So little to no police patrol, food desert, and secluded from the rest of the city and you still can’t find a home for less than 850-900k! It’s insane!
Cali and NY different tho, nobody's cost of living is close to yals, a one bedroom was 300 or 450 for a nice one literally until 2005 and in Mississippi it still cost that
I’m give u correct for doing your research on us in New Orleans some of story u got some part right but everybody who from New Orleans born & raise we can tell the real story old & new what be poppin’ at in New Orleans ya heard me
I'll say about 30-40% accurate. Rare report and Newtral ground newz is more accurate of New Orleans. Like parts of the East were already lit before Katrina right after the Desire and Florida was torn down. Also New Orleans was still maki moves music wise after Katrina. Remember Curren$y in 06,Baby Boy da Prince in 07 and Tha Knux in 08. It's just BR started to really take off first with Trill Ent in 04 and the rest is history. By the way Curren$y never left. He is the only one to never really leave.
Yea he ain’t never 100% correct about his stories. I’m from Louisville when he did the EST Gee video it was like 24% correct the city was cracking up 😂
Yeah we was cutting up hard before and when we came to Texas and then we had to really learn what a indictment was 🤣😂 but thats old now I’m a better man now but I really enjoyed my self back then 💯🔥💪🏿 I remember Texas people at the time didn’t Even knew what a Extended clip was I mean now everybody know what it is but in 05 they was like what is that
I am from Houston and I remember everyone from Louisiana coming over and how crime just skyrocketed because everything and everyone was so misplaced. Then it became a territory issue and violence for a lot of places in Houston
I hate when people talk about black people in any sort of critical manner especially when I can tell they are obviously white and profiting from black drama.
@@fartgangtv9143 i love when we hold our own community ACCOUNTABLE for its actions which is why I specified and said “critical”. Being critical of a community as if it’s entertainment VS being apart of the community and actively involved in the solution are two completely different things. Peace be unto you.
@@overratedworldwide5344 just saying you asking a white boy to make something about your culture unless you white too then Nevermind , but he ain’t doing nothing u can’t so ask yourself js tho
I remember, at least in my area, we had one incident of some Katrina niggas trying to start shit with da Mexicans here in San Antonio n the Mexicans pulled up with AKs n ARs on them. That was one of the craziest shits I had seen.
I'm from New Orleans born and Raised. I lost everything in Katrina, including friends! So when I tell you "B Stupid" was not the most Feared man in New Orleans!!? Like where did you even come up with that statement bro!? My Pops survived Katrina in the B.W Cooper projects (aka Calliope) 3rd ward, so I seen alot uptown. I'm from the Eastside and we never even heard of dude! Thats no offense to him, just saying nobody was most feared in my city it dont work like that down here period! Homie probably was big in his Jects and uptown but err where else we had our own problems. No one man was most feared! Cap!
Man I been living in LA my whole life and got ties to New Orleans and Br. This shit just make me sad. You know things are bad but learning some context even about just a little bit of the violence just makes you realize how bad things really are out here.
I remember doing lawn care work at a house in the Baton Rouge country club, and across the street was Master P’s old house. Same one from MTV Crib. My boss was like, oh yeah they ran him out of town for all the gang stuff
My guy I'm from New Orleans and in grew up in Hollygrove on Belfast st in you have alot of inconsistency in this story however I do like the content and I been in the streets so I know
Did u hear about Rob49 and the iberville projects (vulture island) doing yo research for this? Also big ups on the quality bro, u been consistent asf I was hoping you’d stick around in this RU-vid shit cause it’s only up from here 💯
Lmaoooo man I’m happy I found this comment.. bro rob49 is JUST a rapper and that’s no hate intended.. the iberville ain’t been active since before the storm. It’s not dangerous at all. Relatively speaking.. 49 just a high school kidd who can rap bro the iberville is irrelevant
new orleans resident, i know people that stuck out katrina and survived. one friend went to the metrodome. also not all the projects were torn down, i can’t remember which one but there’s one with some buildings still standing. they are abandoned and creepy, like they feel haunted.
11 bodies in 3 months?!? How long is it gonna take for us (the black community) to address serial killers disguising themselves as “gangs” ???? Absolutely terrifying.
We need more respect on silk the shocker name. He wasn’t that bad of a rapper and he still made some solid songs. No limit had great artist, one of the biggest reasons they fell was when their production team left.
