A few bucks for a box of zerk caps is a good investment, keeps the holes clean & clear. Personal opinion on oil, Schaeffer's.

get you a metal drum cut in half. fill it with sand and a bit of used oil. put your shovels and such in it. never have to oil them again!

Hi, What about the axle fluid? Isnt that part of the 50 hour service?

Yes sir, that is correct. Thanks for pointing that out. First at 50 hours, then every 200 hours after that.

How are you liking the 1626? If you had it to do over, would you buy it again? I had taken it off my list after seeing a couple of bad reviews, but starting to rethink it. Price and features are competitive, warranty and financing are very good.

How often do you grease your tractor?

According to the manual - every 10hours. I try to stick with that. Sometimes a little sooner. Sometimes a little later. But I try to keep it as close to every 10 hours of use as possible. Thanks for watching!!
