Loved this video. I’ve been in marine Industry 13 years now in north east but always loved being on the road too. Always thought about transporting boats up and down east coast. Have my cdl b but thought of upgrading to a to do so

No. Oh sorry you weren't talking to me. Ive often wished he would do some tandem axle dumps, because I know what I get charged for a load of dirt, or gravel, and I know what the material costs, so I just wanna see if I'm paying on the high or low side. I usually pay $100 for quick trips, and $150 for up to 2 hours. This is cash to an owner/operator. He buys a new Peterbuilt every 2 years, and says he makes 7-10 loads a day. Thats pretty damn good money. Of course, when it rains and they can't dig dirt from the pits, there goes at least 1/2 his daily earnings. I admire him, if it rains, his truck is spotless before the next day. And hes 65-75 years old. He'll spoil you putting things in impossible places, and spreading gravel so uniformly

One cop last year made all the good cops look like serial killers , we lost respect for our men and women in blue , my CVSA score is perfect , my truck and logs were never on point ok , I show respect to the officers and the payoff is amazing , if truckers want to trash talk the cops who have the most difficult job , it makes it hard for the trucker like me to get by because we represent each other we are the Truckers one are all and all are one in the eyes of the officer , so do us a favour if you feel like talking to an officer think first , is it going to hurt the officer , is it going to benefit the officer or should I just keep my big mouth shut , most of the time you will get a lesson or taught something new or a warning it’s all what comes out of what you say and how you react ,be calm show respect fake it if you have to ,these officers are human too , but their job is something only certain people can handle ,it takes a special breed to be a good cop , there are the ones that slip through the cracks but all of them are not like that , all the best and keep you’re mouth closed or a fly will land on tongue :)

Incorrect without the CDL you can't tell anything with a combined meaning a truck hitched to any trailer, more than 10,000 pounds gvwr the $26,000-lb law has been outdated for years and you will run into dot cops that will ticket you and tell you anytime you are for higher in commerce, you need a CDL. I don't agree with all the laws, but many of them are in place because of inexperienced operators at least this guy is starting off small, unlike the guy in Carson City who just killed two people overloaded with no experience

I am in the RV transport industry and I Run a 2500 HD with gvwr of 9900 LB and my scale weight unloaded with tanks full is 8580 LB with 26 k tags enabling me to tow 17420 lb but try to shoot for 17000 to be on the safe side with a Class E License dot has not been a problem one bit

@@larryrios what are they paying you guys now ? Used to be a good living 20 years ago. Then the brokers came in called them selves a truckin company and screwed that industry all up . Think last I heard when a friend got into it around 2015 he was at a 1.25 a mile
