I do this once a month after the Microsoft Update Tuesday. Then I will have almost the latest version of 10 for my laptop and 11 for my new desktop. They will be the latest versions on usb drives. Except if there are any updates that Microsoft puts out between the monthly Tuesday updates. Then when I make the next months versions, they will be up to date up to that point again. Saves some time and the amount of updates that are needed to get.

two more funny things about windows installation flashdrive 1 if you not using supported windows to download windows 10 from microsoft it redirect you to download iso image file instead of media creation tool it worked on vista and ubuntu in the past 2 if you rolled back windows 11 back to windows 10 it will with few hours start to download windows 11 again without even asking, so you can install windows 10 in place to "update" existing version of windows 10 and doing that without updates bring you back to the point you can refuse to download windows 11 again which would block windows 11 update on supported system for now

Personally, if this is your day to day job like myself, get a USB 3.0 device or higher and use it if supported of course, the speeds in creating the USB and the creating of Windows 10 is so much faster!
