The Vance & Hines brand has always been about enhancing the exhilaration of the motorcycle ride. It started over 40 years ago, when Terry Vance and Byron Hines were two young enthusiasts in the fledgling Southern California motorcycle drag race scene. Hi, I just got my Vance & Hines torquer 450's for my 2022 Road Glide CVO, but it appears the headers are to small for the mufflers (the originals had a metal mesh gasket inside, impossible to take out without damaging): weird thing is that I cannot find anything in the documentation/description of V&H and neither did I find anything in RU-vid. Do you know why that is and what is the best way to make the mufflers fit? Thanks

Mufflers are side specific. Right hand is the wide opening.

I have the same concerns. It does look like the OEM gasket is needed. Did you manage to figure it out? Have the same problem and V&H mentioned that its metal-to-metal fit but I havent tried yet as I'm afraid of damaging it.

@@half.baked.pavlova Have you managed to solve this issue? I just installed my power duals and I have V&H Torquer 450's and I can't get the left muffler clamp tight. I can still rotate the muffler after tightening the clamp.

@Brian Devers Yes, resolved it by getting the right gaskets. Don't try to force the u-clamp tight without them. Look up these parts: 65900017 and 65900056. They're the different part # for the diff sizes you need. Good luck!
