I install a pair of Vance & Hines Torquer 450 Quiet Baffles & go for a ride to compare the sound from the stock baffles. My bike has had a S&S 475 Cam upgrade which makes the mufflers a lot louder. You can’t really notice the difference in sound from the video but I can notice it on the bike.

Next weekend on the Hard Arse will be a good test for them. I think I’ll keep using the ear plugs on a long ride, they do help with the wind noise.

Did you wrap the baffles with fiberglass matting or just insert the baffle?

Just inserted the baffle, no fibreglass matting

Would have been nice to see the internals differences. I have the torque 450 baffles and have no clue if i have loud or quite ones.

To be honest the only difference I noticed was the quiet baffles are a smaller diameter. If you got yours new they will be the louder ones. There isn’t a lot of difference in sound between them.

@@deanosmotorcyclerides Cheers, yep mine are new.. Im running headers. Can't say I find them noisey but I run earplugs to reduce wind noise....
