How to make a long range remote control with 100mW NRF24L01 PA LN (E01-ML01DP5) module and Arduino. 1 to 6 proportional channels and 2 on/off type channels. Circuit construction with a total of 8 channels.

Hi! so, I watched many times, I bought all the parts, and had a change of heart. I want to build a robot. Basically, a tank, 2 tracks 2 joysticks, and an arm with grabber/claw controlled by a second set of joy sticks. sounds like I would need to control a total of 6 to 9 stepper motors.......little guys for now, maybe 28byj-48s and a couple bigger ones for the tracks. my question is can this be configured to control those? also,ISTLs ?

I am curious about the range. I have written working code for ESP32-S2 transmitter and ESP32-C3 receiver 6 channel with I2C displays on both and accelerometer and GPS connections to the remote, also some neopixel driving. Transmitter uses mini joysticks and 2 encoders. My target is radio controlled solar powered hydrofoils. However I think I will need to switch out for another ESP32 chip with the aerial connections. My code is working, I made circuit boards but the mini PCB aerials only range to about 200 M even in ESP32 NOW Long range mode. I will explore further though, may be something simple like manually slowing the communication rate. Interesting seeing your skill on perf board soldering! PCBs from China are very inexpensive now though. I have been getting some this year from JLCPCB and can recommend.

200m is typical for PCB antenna. Install 2dbi dipoles on transmitter and receiver, and you will have 1.5km range.

If the ESC is connected, no extra power supply is required for the servos. Because the BEC circuit of the ESC will provide the necessary power for the servos.

There is a line for this in the code. You can enter the appropriate value for the position you want the relevant channel to go to when the signal is cut off. Like this... " data.throttle = 0; "

why do you need a wireless adapter module if you've already got the wireless transceiver couldn't you just connect it directly to the arduino?

The adapter's job is only to reduce the voltage. NRF24 modules provide communication. The adapter supplies the NRF24 module with stable and correct voltage. It is a simple regulator. The WiFi name is misleading. But it is sold under this name.

The E01-ML01DP5 module is a 3.3V device. Will it be damaged by connecting it to the arduino nano's 5v spi and data pins?

If there is no 3.3V regulator in between, you should use the 3.3V pin of the Arduino.

I don't usually use flight controllers for model airplanes. I control it manually with the remote control. I only use F405 on my FPV model.

Those modules only output 100mw, the same as a standard Rc transmitter. Ebyte, the company who makes that module make a 1w 433mhz module (Ebyte E32-Ttl-1W) which is used in the QCZEK diy long range system and people are getting in excess of 45 miles (73Km) out of the system. The modules could be integrated into a diy project like this, either with the stock firmware or the QCZEC custom firmware on them.....

Yes you can. But the supply power of the NRF24 module must be external. It cannot get the current it needs through the Arduino.

I did every single thing u did and I test it only on channel 5 . And when I add the batterys the motor start running without even adding the bottom and even after I add a controller bottom for controlling the motor it stays the same ... !! Idk why the motor always on when I put the batterys ..?! I double checked the code u said and it's alright. Where is the problem?

The lines starting with the "#include" command at the top of the code call the library files to be included. An example; #include , meaning the SPI.h library will be called. All library files in these lines are the required ones. You need to install them on your computer for the code to work. in this project SPI.h / nRF24L01.h / RF24.h / Servo.h

If you did everything right it should work. But you should know that NRF24 modules are not very stable modules. Sometimes there may be connection problems. You can try changing your test location. Because they may be affected by the electrical noise around you. This works sometimes. Also, turning off the power and then turning it on again can sometimes work. Strengthening the antennas temporarily may help. Interesting methods that some of my viewers suggested and said worked. Wrapping the antennas with aluminum foil. Some people have said that this works. Another method is to temporarily hold the metal part of the antenna tightly with two fingers. The human body can serve as a kind of antenna. And this can make the first connection happen. :)

Hocam 2 bölümü de izleyip birebir aynı malzemelerle devreyi kurdum. Kodları gönderip test almak istedim ancak başarısız oldum. Servo motorumun çalıştığına eminim. Devre şemalarını birebir aynı yaptım. acaba nereyi kaçırmış olabilirim var mı bi fikriniz. Ayrıca adaptorü arduino'nun 3v3 bacağına bağlamamız gerekmez miydi. Adaptör için 3.3V pini kullanılırsa adaptörün bir anlamı kalmaz. Adaptörün tek görevi zaten NRF24 modülü için daha yüksek voltajı 3.3V a düşürmek. Giriş 3.3V olursa adaptör çıkışı çok düşük bir voltaj olur. Tüm devreyi doğru yaptığından eminsen geriye NRF24 modülleri kalır. NRF modüller bağlantı kurma konusunda biraz sorun çıkartabiliyorlar. İşe yaması muhtemel olan bir kaç ilginç yöntemi deneyebilirsinz. Bir tanesi antenin metal bağlantı kısmını iki parmağınla tutmak. Hocam ne yaptıysam yapayım alıcı mesajı almıyor. Bunu nasıl çözebilirim. Paralel olarak 100uF ve 100nF bağladım. ESP32 kullanıyorum. Çözdüm sırf laptop üzerinde duruyor diye konuşmuyormuş. Böyle ıvır zıvır hata ile neden karşılaşıyorum ? Motor süreceğim elektromanyetik alandan bu kadar kolay etkilenmemeli.

Elinize sağlık güzel proje olmuş. normal siyah pcb li nrf24l01 kullanarak rc araba yaptım. Nerdeyse bitti tek sorun arabayı kullanırken motorun çektiği yüksek akım sebebiyle bağlantı ara sıra kopuyor, bu sorunun çözümü üzeri metal kaplı nrf24l01 olduğunu gördüm. ama biraz maliyetli, arabaya üzeri metal kaplı nrf24l01 takıp, kumandada normal nrf24l01 kullansam sorun çözülürmü yada iki tarafada takmak gerekiyormu ? menzil benim için çok önemli değil.

26awg .. Pot lu veya joytick li kanal isteğe bağlı. Ama ESC (Elektronik hız kontrol) gereklidir. Videonun ikinci bölümünde test kısmında görebilirsin.

lehim teli 1.2 mm kullanıyorum. Sanırım bu sebeple Pertinaksa yol yapamadım. Lehim teli olarak 0.50 mı önerirsiniz 0.75 mi ?
